    Bafang Max Drive bikes

Speeds not too dissimilar, 44t made easy cruise at 18 to 20mph than the 38t,48t has made 25mph as in pedals aren't going like bees wings you have to put some effort to get it there but once there you can ease off a little,it's not like earlier pedal assists that I have ridden with the cadence...

    Bafang Max Drive bikes

Quick update on Max powered Greenway, today I fitted a second chainwheel to the front, I removed the chainwheel guard that's fitted to the spider and junked it as it was heavy and ugly, fitted a 48t 104 pcd chainwheel to the outside, and I put the original 38t back on the inside of the spider...

    Bafang Max Drive bikes

Yep me and cyclebuddy reckon it's a steal, at the price,we paid for ours, advertised poorly as mid drive not max drive, that's only reason they are still up for grabs, every other dealer that had Bafang max drive in one form or another has no stock and prices £400+ higher, And I only paid his...

    The best legal ebike kit

It's mounted by way of a spline into freewheel of drive and held onto spline with a large circlip. Gates do a belt drive set up for the Max Drive to go with alfine hub, with several size tooth wheels available 54t max I think, which takes you into fast road bike territory.

Noticed motor is marked 14a after the 36v 250w I take it this is amps that controller will put out, that makes me just over 500w max output then 14x36 In my other post I have put a picture up of my motor even though it's shown as 250w the top Identification numbers are not as a comfis kit...

    Bafang Max Drive bikes

Hi all, just been browsing the net and perusing my 36v 250w Max Drive bike, it dawns on me that the max drive is same unit 250w or 350w all that has changed is the voltage to the unit, I've looked at the spec in the manual, motor will take 36,43 or 48v inc. controller, cadence slightly higher...

Do I need Full Sus on an electric fat bike?

Fat bikes seem to be fashionable at the moment but full sus is just adding more weight to the mix of drag when pedalling, assisting, uphill manoeuvres ,less range , big tyres will take out all the pebbles roughness of ride, full sus for show and if you are jumping, downhills stunting etc. All of...

Chainwheel is fitted by 104pcd 4 hole as per mountain bike, I've upped it to a 44t cadence for the motor is around 100rpm, I'm ordering a 48t chainring for it that will give me better top end, I'm not sure of lowest or highest gear on the back, I'll have to count em when I get back home...

Went out to play on the greenway Bafang Max drive today, changed front chainwheel from 38t to 44t on the flat it's very easy to cruise at 19 -20 mph power level 1, The motor when cruising along is totally silent all you hear is wind noise , maybe slight electric frequency type noise, no gear or...

The touring version has cable brakes unfortunately , or I would of purchased that version, this frame has all the figments for mudguards etc, it also has plenty of room if you feel the need for 650b rims and wide tyres, The tyres supplied are 700c x35 kenda kourier bit like a cyclocross tyre.
