Correct. No spares are available, your only hope that I know of is via the German forum indicated earlier. Users Gamerpaddy and Cosas have reverse engineered this and can help but you do need to be sure what is going on with your motor(s) before connecting a replacement battery.

I doubt very much that the motor on the second bike has a problem. You will most likely find you have an AFE fault logged, you can get this just with a multimeter probing in the wrong place. The comms line has maybe been connected to incorrect voltage/ground due to a motor controller failure...

There is a distinct possibility the rim is damaged too. If there is any deformation it may crack with time and repeated flexing.
