Which motor will get me up hills easily?

I suspect the fact that it has a torque sensor and you say you have little stamina that is the problem. A Bosch motor won't solve that problem. Also as @Peter.Bridge said, single gear doesn't help either .

Generic battery replacement for Mahle X35 system

Can't comment directly on the hubs but I do know increasing the weight of even the front tyre has a huge effect on the handling of a sub 10kg road bike. Increasing the diameter and mass of the wheel on my 25kg plus all mountain ebike makes no difference to me at all, my old 10 kg hardtail MTB...

Generic battery replacement for Mahle X35 system

Sorry but there is no way I would entertain a front hub especially with a generic heavyweight rim on a lightweight agile road bike. Rear hub yes, would still want a decent rim though. Gyroscopes on lightweight bikes are horrible.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

I was just highlighting the fact that not all EVs require use of mechanical brakes to stop, we could stop underground electric locomotives 30 + years ago without using mechanical brakes. I fully agree with the need to use the brakes to prevent problems due to lack of use BUT you can put in the...

Rear Hub Motor - Correct Order for Washers?

Remove the bump on the derailleur hanger and remove material from the hanger if necessary to clear the raised area on the frame ( I don't think that is required as the area where the hanger sits appears to be raised anyway) . The hanger is usually aluminium so nothing more than a file is needed...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Not all EVs are based on Nissan's outdated technology, I am well aware of how it works on a Leaf, most of the stories I have seen have involved Tesla vehicles. Quote from JD Power, first answer on Google From Tesla website

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

There are plenty of EVs with one pedal driving where you can come to a complete stop without using the brake pedal. You can of course choose not to use it but it does exist.

Rear Hub Motor - Correct Order for Washers?

That still is no reason for that washer to be there on the outside. It may be why it was put there but it isn't the correct answer to ensuring the axle is fully home in the dropout and secure. Looking at the state of the dropout there is no way it is ever going to be secure, the slot in the...

Rear Hub Motor - Correct Order for Washers?

Having actually looked at your pictures I see that the Allen screw that is holding the derailleur hanger on is a major concern. There is no way you are going to get your axle fully into the dropout with that in the way. It needs countersinking and a countersink screw that sits below the level of...

Help! Help identifying carrera crosscity motor

I don't know if your battery is going to work with a different controller. Maybe someone can confirm if the Crosscity battery uses comms.

Rear Hub Motor - Correct Order for Washers?

If that is the case then there is no point in it being there, as @Nealh says the nut should be serrated aiding grip and removing the need for overtightening to keep the wheel secure.

Rear Hub Motor - Correct Order for Washers?

The flat has been put on the washer that is outboard of the dropout in order to clear the tab of the anti rotation washer because the tab is too big, IMHO.

Do any cadence sensored hub motor controllers activate pedal assist when ghost pedalling backwards as well as forwards?

All I have owned are torque sensor bikes, to say you can't start on a steep hill is complete rubbish and living where I do I get plenty of practice. Bikes with a Yamaha motor develop power just by applying pressure to the pedal without any rotation, sure the power goes up when you do rotate but...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

I know of another case where cloud seeding is used. It is used in Austria and Bavaria to try to prevent large hail. The idea being you can make the rain / small hail fall before it gets to the middle of the storm where the hail grows as it is lifted then falls only to be lifted again and so on...

    bike battery no green light

My guess would be, the less current you pull the kinder you are to the battery. Keeping the voltage higher reduces the current for the same given power.

    carbon forks and hub motors?

I was about to pop out when I posted that but would add that in my mind subsequent posts and posts made while I was typing have covered what I would have said had I had more time. First as @mathewslack said "it will be alright until it isn't ", this is one of the biggest problems with carbon in...

    carbon forks and hub motors?

The dropouts do not see those forces it is effectively the other way around. The force they see is the force involved in the retardation of the mass of the bicycle and the rider against the contact point of the tyre. This can of course be supplemented by the forces involved in hitting a pothole...
