This looks similar, the difference is the two white wires going to the small white block on the (no) current bms. Temperature cut out? Different wires too, no blue wire in mine, two black and one yellow...

Thanks for the videos. No fuse! Looks like it's fried the bms, a slight whiff of magic white smoke in there. So looks like there is room to fit a blade fuse holder, would that be wise, what amps? Thoughts on where to get a bms replacement?

No externally accessible fuse visible.

Silly mistake I just made. Went to take the battery off, stuck my key in the charging socket. Oops, brief flash. What have I done, is there a fuse? Display won't power up. Charge lights on battery still work.

Just converted my ordinary bike, I also have a Brompton and several unicycles, mostly 20" wheels, one 5ft high. See avatar. I do have a 27" road wheel one, that can travel at a fair pace.

Bbs01 arrived yesterday. I put the bar end handles back on to protect the display if I have to turn the bike over. Fitted bottle cage on seat tube with an extra rivnut. (I got a rivnut kit from amazon). Thanks to whoever suggested it, I put the spare wires in a sunglasses case, neat and tidy...

... About the charger and battery. Showed full on display, dropped a little on test. So my question about battery, the on/off doesn't seem to turn on/off, just lights up the level indicator. I plugged in charger, red light on charger, nothing showing on battery, unless I press the on/off...

Perhaps he's just had a good scratch about.

I agree. I have a hybrid I'm used to, pannier racks front and back. I just fitted a pair of cheap sprung forks, I just had to make a couple of triangular ish S/steel plates that fit the drop out, one hole for mudguard fixing, another to take the pannier leg, slot for the dropout.
