    Brexit, for once some facts.

Its always somebody else that misses the point.. The point I was making is that Osbourne lied, exagerated and now his own party are saying as much. And majority of remainers ( including your dear self) believed his rhetoric. Yes Farage lied but hardly anyone based their vote on his lies. My...

That some believed the BS Osbourne was spouting. Others consulted more reliable sources. WTF has Farage got to do with Osbourne lying ?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The article suggests the cause of that parity( which was forecast to happen before) is our massive deficit. Which as yet brexit has had no affect on. This is going to be case ad infinitum now. Anything negative is Brexit. This post is rather isolated..was replying to a comment about pound/...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Interestingly the tories are now saying Osbourne damaged remain campaign with his scare tactics. None of them seem capable of saying things as they are, everything is modified or exaggerated to further their own cause. How can they get away with it ? Oh hang on a minute , ge didn't..

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Its probably worth pointing out , since we,ve got onto USA and USE that the introduction of a common currency for a group of countries ( as with euo) was probably biggest financial experiment ever. It was first time it had ever been done between non federated states. That single action is...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

White plastic chair manufacturers will be successful in your federation d8ve.. The reality of Europe now is worlds apart from the image portrayed. When eu manage to sort stuff out comensurate with a civilised country everywhere and not just in specific wealthy regions then your federation might...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Totally agreed Flecc but it was those companies within the top 100 which the leaving experts said would be affected. However, its early days no doubt when art 50 is initiated there will be an effect and then again as the real changes start to take effect down the line.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

My smilie buttons dont work... But you are absolutely right. I posted earlier about Metkel decreeing " UK are leaving". End of story and remainers just don't see the irony. Junkers and Merkel have more power over our country than Cameron does..well you get my gist.. Amazingly, ironically, Merkel...

    Insult to Democracy

The credit rating was completely discredited in 2008, when it helped to create the economic catastrphe of that year. Fitch and others gave knowingly bankrupt banks highest rating possible. In industry the rating is viewed with almost contempt. Its meaningless, our lending houses said as much tho...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Another good post Tillson. Folk have bought into the exaggerations over Immigration with Brexit but probably because Farage has played such a big part. Unfortunately Farage although not holding any great power ( they reckon 3 million votes) he,s held balance of power. Hopefully as dust settles...

In or out we can't, neither can eu. China pay workers pence per hour.in our out affects nothing with china. Great post Brendan. Spot on.

How did you arrive at your eu decision?

OG Don't judge on here, try and keep this one for folk to comment free of criticism. We might get more of an insight then. Cheers.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

OG afraid you are in a tiny minority there. ( you and Flecc, perhaps Junkers) I know of none else that want a united states iof Europe. That iis dreaming, even had we stayed. It might be that that's frightening people.

By the way OG china is outside eu,ee trade wwith them freely and always will. Infact cheaper post brexit.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Ofcourse there is change OG, its been going on years and would have continued. The slow devolvement of power from Westminster to Brussels. And Mike is right, the mob rule is showing to be the young led to believe they are disenfranchised, fresh from Glastonbury, majority of whom did not vote.(...

If you voted IN then here's a second chance for common sense

I hope remainers can see the irony in this. Merkel has recently said the referendum must be obeyed.. !!! Sort of justified the out campaign ? Hoist by ones own petard perhaps. By the way Steve, having now seen your beliefs do you not think your thread title is also somewhat ironic. Your title...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

One of biggest issues in remain argument was claim banks would have to relocate to maintain business in EU. That's complete rubbish. To trade in EU bank has to have an office in EU country...fine. If it hasn't it applies for a " banking passport". If it can be shown ( under article 47 eu banking...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Not sure I deemed it necessary OG. I was asked to take part in a referendum, researched it in ,as I saw it correct places, and came to my conclusion. I do think if it does not happen it proves eu is no longer democratic, more a totalitarian state. We,ll see. Time will tell. What exercise is...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

What iis annoying throughout all this is blatant sensationalism on media's part. Take for example last nights graphic of ftse. Zoomed right in, suppressed zero (no origin of graph) and showed value falling off cliff. Step back however and put it in perspective and its not a cliff at all. You,d...
