Talking of insult to democracy did anyone hear student on Tele...reckoned because his Gran was 80 (" and probably only 4 years to live") her vote should carry less importance than his at 18 with his entire life before him ??? What a git. Is this what stayers are lowering themselves to ??

    Brexit, for once some facts.

No we are not. Many companies relish weak pound. Its how system works. Weak pound might mean higher prices, it also means higher sales, more competitive abroad. It also attracts outside investors. Its why uk has flourished out of euro. We can adjust relative value of sterling. France etc can...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Much as see the validity in most of your points there is a sense of sensationsm and perhaps bias? This unfortunately is the way media works, sensation sells papers, gets us hitting keyboards and seeing adverts... Just take for example FTSE. Yes it dropped to 5800 ( and may do again)..in a flash...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Along similar lines there is a graph on .gov site claiming ( and claiming to demonstrate) younger generation have not been represented fairly at all in result... The graph is clearly manipulated, the percentage scale stops at 45% ( with tiny labelling) and it shows swing to stay for 30 to 39...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

OG I didn't lie whereas by your own admission did, ie discounting a report you hadn't even seen. Since you are so good at predicting future could you let us know who will win Euros and perhaps let us know next weeks lottery numbers. Why on earth did anybody bother researching anything about...

( this isn't Flud its his representative, hegot too sick of OG to carry on on here) but he,s asked me to suggest OG might change his mind if eu get their way with Caravans, Caravan MOT,s and tests for licenses. EU like caravans a bit less than Clarkson. They initiated testing for all with...

    Insult to Democracy

Totally agree Tillson but I wonder if there,s rather more to this than meets the eye. Email I received moaned about unelected priminister and new (??) section of party negotiating our exit ? Mp,s generally wanted to remain, this BS is going to give them agenda to debate perhaps a mandate to...

    Insult to Democracy

Amazingly, or perhaps not, I,ve just been emailed to sign this antidemicratic petition... Perhaps we should start a petition to get antidemocratic petitions banned.?? Could take 50 years to get a decision..

Should we be suprised by the Brexit victory?

Good post Wicky, only thing I,d like to add, I do think its been a mistake for remain to foster idea all brexit supporters are anti immigration , xenophibic or simple racist. Cant talk for all but most I know immigration is not the issue. We,ll still need migrants post brexit and no doubt it...

    Insult to Democracy

The call for a second referendum is a joke and insult to democracy. Can you imagine how pathetic our nation would look if a) We had one and b) it overturned this decision. Perhaps Germans would like to replay 66 world cup ??? Or a few other events ?

Should we be suprised by the Brexit victory?

Very good original post. Totally agree with your sentiments. I,d.expected a stay win and by some margin. I,d seen Governents propoganda machine brought into play, their manipulation of data, their scaremongering and thought it would win the day. I really think Blair has got a lot to answer to, he...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Perhaps you could enlighten us all with analogy of putting our hands in burning fires then OG.( I apologise if this wasn't directed at leavers) And BTW Farage isn't even an MP, he,s likely to have feck all to do with anything. Its perhaps only thing you and I agree in. Suspect he lost more...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Have you read Mark Carneys full report. I,ll send you Hargreaves Lansdown's or Woodruffs' if you wish. You,ve been brainwashed by stayers and don't even know it. You can either carry on moaning in ignorance or accept reality and move forward. UK can and will succeed if we stop knocking ...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

We,ve been making a go of it on our own for years, inspite of EU not because of it. For goodness sake OG just research it properly. Read Mark Carney,s full report. Read Woodruff,Read Hargreaves Lansdown. They all say pretty much same thing.. Stop quoting ,reading, studying the BS fed to you.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Some more BS OG...90% of reporting, including BBC coverage has been pro stay, scaremongering..passing on Camerons infantile messages. Its exactly why they lost. Had they treated people with more respect and reported " fa cts" ( not yours and Cameron's poor impression of them) they really could...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Biggest obstacle to overcome is people,s inane and insatiable negativity as demonstrated on here... As yet , and for quite a while yet absolutely nothing has changed, yet folk are screaming recession. Scream it loud enough and sure enough you,ll get one. By the way contrary to OG,s prophecy (...

Don't think so, our Clerics are very particular about who lives around here. Just like to thank OG for his tireless contribution in cause of Brexit. He was surely worth 1000,s of votes in our victory.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Second all recent sentiments. It has been a good thread. I walked to polling station, about 2 miles. Gardens all manicured, window cleaners talking on ladders, pretending to clean windows. Cars stopping at zebra crossings and drivers letting others out at T junctions. All seemed so organised and...
