Help please? Power comes in pulses

Can we see a pic of the magnet disc ? As said if only 7 magnets press one out and then sort the others out so they are spaced equally. Alternatvely buy another manet disc .

Use a meter on the two other pins , they are probably not connected . Or simply drop the bottom of the battery out to check. The batteries shoul dbe dumb so only two pins will be in use.

    Odd fault

If as siad the Forza is on it's original battery , then it is very highly likely at the end of life stage for the cells. Ezee forza's must be at least 9 + years old now if not some will easy be 15 years.

Help please? Power comes in pulses

If on the next ride the PAS is still on/off and not picking up then one will have to look at the magnet disc securing as it will often indicate that the disc is slipping in it's axis around the BB axle. These discs grip the BB axle with small plastic splines which ove r time can lose their...

    Fitting yose power

A cartridge type , as said clean the BB threads both sides . PAS type one will likely need the top right or bottom left type in #8, for less issues. However if one has ordered the kit likely the V12L top left will be supplied.

    Fitting yose power

Loose bearing type one refits the cluster then greases the race cup and then pops the bearings back in leaving a bearing space so they freely can rotate. Again with anything a pic speeak volumes of what you have.

    Odd fault

One possibility is the Forza's age and a knackered battery, even a kackered battery wiil show good charge. Try rigging up a voltage meter to the battery and if need be the charger to allow power, with the drive wheel off the ground power the bike on to drive the motor wheel and watch the...

    Pendleton Somerby e bike

One will have to show us a pic or two of the controller and all of the wiring , if it is a rear rack battery then the contorller and wiring is located at the front of the battery ina compartment behind the front cover. Following seeing pics , if there is no candidate to add a speed switch (aka...

Help please? Power comes in pulses

The disc it self needs to fit the axle very tightly , if you are able to rotate it's axis aound the axle by hand then it is the reason you are feeling it pulsing . So first one needs to check that it can't be rotated around it's axis. Secondly the disc needs to be very close to the sensor head...

Disabled cyclist; with one bad choice behind her, needs help with a new bike

I'm going to put in another penneth worth. For your needs I doubt if one will find a bike that fits the bill to be as light as one wishes it to be, one is likely going to have make a compromise on the weight issue. For the mo Kat forget about the weight issue of the bike and think about first...

Help please? Power comes in pulses

Are you saying it is the one piece integrated PAS rather then the separate two piece Magnet disc and sensor ? P12L is indeed a twelve pole PAS . I googled P12L PAS sensor and got a two piece set up.

Making a torque throttle instead of a speed throttle for a cheap controller

The five current levels though not adjustable one can can theorectically lessened any power by using C5. The set current levels give approx. 13%, 20%, 33%, 50% & 100% power in each of the PAS levels.

Kat any EAPC you see that utilises a middle motor/crank motor will be a Torque sensing type irrelevant of brand . For your needs as with the Woosh Crusa one will be looking for an EAPC with a hub motor.

Disabled cyclist; with one bad choice behind her, needs help with a new bike

This is what I don't understand and the lady seems set on a TS bike which isn't the right drive system for her. Katy has a Woosh Crusa and likes it , the hub drive system with Cadence PAS must suit her otherwise she wouldn't like the bike. So why the view that a TS is the anwser ?

Making a torque throttle instead of a speed throttle for a cheap controller

One replaces the Lishui controller unit like for like with a KT controller unit, simply unbolt/unscrew the controller unit from the battery mount rail. (One of course has to buy the correct controller unit for the battery). One will need to buy a KT LCD for compatibility.
