Bosch CX 2020 - lighter and smaller motor - new and larger(also length) intube battery

According to the above article, all Bosch’s 2020 motors will be able to detect if a dongle is fitted and back off the assist and power, the motor will reset itself after an hour and work normally again (as long as there’s no dongle) but try dongling 3 time and the system shuts down completely ...

Bosch CX - is it possible to reduce pedeling resistance with aftermarket mods

That makes good business sense, I wonder if Kia will do that with my car, this years model has more horse power than the one I brought last year :p

    Schwalbe Big Apples 29er

I assume you didn’t bother following the link I put up so hears another part from Sheldon’s tyre section, it’s worth a read and it may challenge some of your preconceptions Hydroplaning Car and truck tires need tread, because these vehicles are prone to a very dangerous condition called...

    Schwalbe Big Apples 29er

Here’s a quote from the famous Sheldon Brown “Bicycle tires for on-road use have no need of any sort of tread features; in fact, the best road tires are perfectly smooth, with no tread at all! Unfortunately, most people assume that a smooth tire will be slippery, so this type of tire is...

    annoying clicking noise

Clicking spokes don’t automatically mean you need to adjust the tension, check them by all means but I’m still using the wheels I mentioned earlier with no adjustments to spoke tension in over 1000 miles

    annoying clicking noise

Another vote for spokes, I had that annoying click for months before putting one small drip of oil on each spoke where it goes through the hub and another drip at the nipple/rim interface o_O

    bike laws

I’d get my money back ASAP while you still can, if the police already have there eye on E-rider UK’s advertising and decided to bring proceedings in the near future, e-rider may not have the money to refund you

    Worlds first self charging e-bike

Easier solution is to fit a really big rear wheel, then you’ll always be going down hill. Simples

Schwalbe smart Sam, terrible on wet tarmac!

The Sams are dual compound, harder in the central tread area for better road speed but less grip especially at higher pressure, I’m between 20&30 psi in the front

    Schwalbe Big Apples 29er

I’ve got apples in both 2.1 & 2.35, the larger on my e-cube (ALP) in plus variety and the smaller on my analog cruiser, non plus because they are noticeably lighter when you haven’t got a motor ;) Apples are my go to tyres for road and light dry trails. I have Smart Sam plus for E-MTB off...

    Cube Acid 400 chainring upgrade

Did you consider leaving the small ring in place ? Best of both worlds, just lift the chain off one ring and drop it onto the other when ever you have the need :)

    Cube front mudguard

SKS beaver tails, my front is a rear and my rear is a rear with a bit of spare front grafted on for extra length  ;) Both guards have an extra flap on the end.

    Which e mtb better buy

I’m on my third Ebike, currently enjoying a cube with a Bosch ALP motor. It has a full size chain ring and no internal gearing so there’s little to no resistance riding off power or above the cutoff speed and its quiet. My previous bike also a cube with a Bosch motor, fun for the 3 years I had...

Optimal cadance Bosch Active Line Plus

80 sounds about right to me, not that I’ve actually measured anything  It just that 70-80 is a comfortable rpm for me to maintain without too much pressure on my knees and a good output from the motor.

My first off and it was a strange one

Sorry for your situation, I’ve been there (RTA other drivers fault) and it took over six months to sort. These days i let my insurance sort it out. As a British Cycling member I have the best legal team on my side and they would be my first call.

    Bosch active line plus thoughts

Indeed ( not that I always understand SW’s abbreviations, my MTB weighs 11.8 kg’s and its so much more dynamic and responsive to ride than my ALP Cube.
