    Waterproof boots/shoes

Ive been using lidls waterproof walking boots for 3 winters, although I won't ride in a downpour I occasionally get caught out ;) But I do go off road through some serious mud, try to find 2-3 inches of water to stand in, washing off the worst of the mud before getting home. The only time...

    Bike horns

Been there done that. Buzzers and sirens even though they may be loud they don't tell folks a bike is comming like an old fashioned bring bring bell dose. I've even fitted a 12 volt motorcycle horn, powered off my 7.2v light battery, loud, yes, used close to a pedant and they need to go home...

Is anyone else on a dry january?

By the time I'd hit 40 I recon I'd drank a lifetimes worth of bear so I stoped. That was 17 years ago. I can appreciate folks like a drink but most of the bad things that ever happened to me did so when I was p!ssed

Cube with CX or Active plus ?

Cube acid one 500 for me, my third pedelec and the best so far  Full size chainring and no internal gearing makes it easier to pedal off power, it's quieter and unlike the CX motor it hasn't any bearing failures that I'm aware of ? I'm not upto speed with pricing at this time of year...

I'm in the same boat with the towbar. I have a new car and the dealer says the chasse is not towbar compatable and I wouldn't want to jeopardise my 7 year warranty ;) I've offered up my bike to the back of the car and the wheels would cover the lights perfectly if I was to use a bones rack :(...

Park Tool PCS-10 Home Mechanic Repair Stand

I use a "ultimate hardware folding bike bike maintenance work stand" 4 wide legs help keep the bike steady and the clamp head is indexable so there's no slipping/twisting if your bikes clamped off centre. my bike is also heavy but I always take the battery out before putting it in the stand

    Website update

I don't know what everyone else sees but on my iPad, each time I open my link to the forum I can clearly see a link to the latest forum posts on the r/h side just below the advertising banner, it's easier than the old forum. What I'm missing is an ignore thread button ;)

    bones or fondo

So I'm in the market for a new cycle carrier to go on the latest model Picanto. Even though I'll mostly only be carring one bike I've been looking at the Saris bones 2 or 3 because of there adjustablility. I've now spotted the Grand Fondo from Saris, this rack also fits the rear hatch but...
