    Normally Closed reed switched

I did see that thanks But I'm not convinced its robust enough for ebike use. All the bouncing around seems likely to shift the delicate balance

Anyone have any idea where I can get a plastic encased one of these ? I find plenty of normally open reed switches but normally closed seem to be very hard to source indeed I want a circuit to be On when a magnet is present but Off when it is removed The only ones I found on ebay turned out...

    What should i buy? Trike/eped/allseasons emotor/ e scooter moped..

I agree with the above posters - for your needs as you describe them a standard 2 wheel pedelec is the way forward. Woosh and Cyclezee both have decent bikes in your price range. Both have good reputations regarding guarantees and customer service. They are not the only two of course but are a...

    Small Battery Bargain.....?

    1) assuming you can identify.the output terminals you can parallel or series them ( at least I have with matuka packs) Series adds the volts, parallel the ah. 2) no, absolutely not. You need to charge each pack individually with the charger it came with 3) no, but test them. Do they all give...

Best to do things logically despite your sensible hunch Charger, then battery (full) give us the results and then we. Can work from there

    Display suddenly shows empty battery

Personally I'd start with the charger - make sure it reads 42v Next the battery - should be 42 directly after a full charge

    Display suddenly shows empty battery

No, both your charger and your battery should read 42v or very close The charger always 42v and the battery 42 hot off a full charge

    New eZee DT Downtube Batteries

Very nice. Centre of gravity relative to the mount point looks good too. Better than the standard new style bottle batteries. Good to prevent lug rip out accidents One day I'll be able to afford your gear ! I'm not saying it's unreasonable btw Not at all .its just outta my range for time being

    Rear wheel for Izip wanted.

I'd send an email to these guys - essential its izip head office https://www.curriestore.com/contact-us/ just tell them what model you have, what you want and where you live. Good chance they'll find a UK dealer that can help. Worth an email or a call anyway I'd say

    E-Bike Upgrade

Any photos of the controller ? It might be a blown cap, possibly My KU65 has 63v caps but I am aware that some have 50v caps. It seems a bit random which you get looking around here and on ES Can you see what the writing is on the side of the "big resistor" ?
