Remember I am UK based so NO US makes or outlets please

Well my definition of fun is clearly different to yours. I'd rather see deer, rabbits, and other wildlife on my alternative off road commute route home (below), than looking and hearing at traffic. Plus, 'stupid' knobblies work on roads better than road tyres work on mud

Remember I am UK based so NO US makes or outlets please

Riding on roads is pretty boring compared to an off road countryside gravel track.... it's not all about getting from A to B with minimum fuss, even in winter there's still a bit of fun to be had !. And Schwalbe MP's are not the best in cold and wet, there's better road tyre options that still...

Advice on correct bike size (Cube reaction pro)

If the dealer won't exchange the bike, you might have to look at buying a longer seat post, plenty of options. just remove the seat post and measure, I think the Cube ones are 30.9mm diameter, yours might be 350mm in length in which case get the 400mm length one which will allow it to go higher...

Seeking Advice on Affordable Ebike for 20-Mile Daily Commute (£500-£600 = Budget)

Surely a £500 ebay bike is gonna have cheaper/inferior quality components that are gonna fail quicker doing 5k miles per year ? That's a lot of winter miles that can punish a bike, I know, did a 12 mile commute every day in all weathers for 5 years

    Hi just joined

I can confirm the old type (on the left) bike works fine with the Yosepower battery that Cyclebuddy has linked too, the only operational difference is that the new battery doesn't show a percentage value remaining on the display but does show the battery bars. It does also come with a charger...

Help! New e-bike for 16 mile commute

another vote for NCM https://www.leoncycle.co.uk/NCM-Venice-Plus-Trekking-E-Bike on offer at the moment at £1199 - 768wh battery will get you to work and back easily on a single charge and I think the Das Kit hub motors are pretty pokey so no problem with hills

Disposing of a faulty ebike battery

Thanks guys. My local tip lists car batteries and 'batteries' as accepted so I'm hoping they'll be able to take the ebike battery. I've heard Aldi have recycling bins instore that it would seem are managed by a company who recycle batteries, however, I don't fancy taking apart my battery and...

Disposing of a faulty ebike battery

Hi all I have a 5 year old Yosepower Hailong 36v 13ah downtube battery that has failed. I cannot charge it (charger initially sent 30-40w into it for a few minutes then went to green)and although I can intermittently get it powered on (the leds on the top of the battery flash up full) and I...
