18 Stone 8, 5 feet 11, which bike would suit me under £1000 and front wheel hub or otherwise?.

I ride a Cyclotricity front hub conversion every day to work and I'm a big lad! Climbs the yorkshire hills fine, the Whoosh Big Bear would have been my first choice to suggest as well.

    Tyre choices for A2B Metro

Just worried about hitting that wet manhole cover on a corner. It's a heavy bike to drop!

    Cyclamatic Battery query.

if the bottom of the battery looks like this: The red wire from the meter plugged into V and the black wire plugged into COM. Red (+) goes to the + of the battery with the black (-) going to - of the battery should give you a reading. Just don't short out the battery at any point! Put the meter...

    Cyclamatic Battery query.

That multimeter is fine, just make sure you've got it on the DC voltage setting before probing the battery! 21miles on a 24v 10ah battery doesn't sound too bad to me though.

    Tyre choices for A2B Metro

I've almost got my A2B Metro restored and ready for the road, I've clean and regreased everything, tidied up the electrics, fitted mirrors and some Aldi panniers, just not sure about the stock tyres. Coming up this week..

The tyres would be fine for some light shingle paths, they're standard 26" tyres so could be swapped out at a later date quite easily for something a bit more knobbly if more off road is required. Whereabouts are you based as there's no problem with you coming over and having a test to see if...

Anyone had an interesting ride recently ?

For a short ride (if wife is with me) I go the other way to Five Rise Locks, spot of lunch in the cafe then back. Towpath is a lot better that way!

Anyone had an interesting ride recently ?

Never alone :) Fishermen on that route get on my t*ts though, tut-tutting at me when they have to move their stupidly long poles that block the whole towpath!

Anyone had an interesting ride recently ?

That's a great ride Phil. I like to do East Riddlesden Hall to Skipton along the canal, have a pint and then wobble back!

Cycling Gear in Aldi Sunday 04/05/14

That picture was taken before the bearings in one of the pedals collapsed. She's got such a good dad though, he donated one of his and rode home with one! My controller was a bit warm though!

    Torque Sensor bike with Panieers?

Where are you based? There might be a local specialist in your area, it's always best to have a ride first of the different types.
