Powabyke cuts out on full throttle.

I've just had a similar issue with a pedal sensor, would work intermittently, pulled all the wiring out, tested, retested, scratched heads. Then just wound the pedals backwards to get a better view and the bloody thing started up. The magnet disc was on backwards! Grrr.

    RCA Power plugs

Does anybody know where to buy the RCA style 10.5mm power plugs for 24v batteries, I've just ordered the chargers but they come with XLR plugs and so I'll have to source and solder new plugs on. They're for two frog style batteries. I've found some stateside companies that stock them but would...

    Buying a second battery????

The second battery (http://www.bmsbattery.com/36v/162-36v-10ah-lithium-ion-alloy-shell-ebike-battery-pack.html) would be better as it has a higher discharge current of 15A so would happily supply the 13A max your controller could demand. The bottle battery can only do 10A max current. Hope that...

    New addition to the collection.

Worked out how I'm going to do pedal assist, I'm going to use the voltage PAS sensor which looks like it puts out full throttle as soon as pedalling is detected and then have a three speed switch which will (via some voltage dividers) allow me to select levels of assist. Not very stylish but I...

    Recycling a BMS

That sounds like a good test, plus test the cell voltage when charging to see what the high cutoff is.

I'd looked at the type 2 one as its an easy fit, just parallel with the throttle, but not sure how it'll deliver power. The voltage will increase as you pedal faster? Not sure that's the best way.

Took all the blooming spoke reflectors off today! so not that thick. Sorted out the crummy brakes and then tried to get all the crappy reflective stickers off it. Maybe another day. Just need to work out how to put pedal assist on it, it's the US version. I'm toying with using one of the chain...

£600 I paid, got some spares as well, it's the US version so no pedal assist but I'm hoping I can get some kind of torque sensor on it.

    Battery Charging - Opinions Please

My house was burned out a couple of years ago by a fault dishwasher that wasn't even running a cycle! The timer controller was arcing across the contacts. £53,000 pounds worth of damages. Give me an e bike battery every time!

    Abuse when wearing helmet cam

Mine's on the handlebars so looks like a light, just use a good mount and it'll be fine.
