Motor for 130 mm rear drop outs

We have the new DWG2NC which is a rear motor with 135mm dropout but in 20in rim only at the moment. I will stock more sizes in late spring.

    Help me buy an ebike

The rubber joints on the fork die in less than a year if you leave your bike to be rained on. I started selling £300 ebikes so I am not doing that again. You keep your cheap bikes in your garage. That's why you don't see much wrong with them. After a year a two, cheap bikes aren't cheap anymore...

The rules are simple: if Chinese bikes are sold in the UK, they have to be assembled here or pay anti dumping. If Chinese bikes are sold as made in Poland or another EU country, then it's fraud. They get away with it because they can't be caught.

    Help me buy an ebike

Cheap ebikes tend to be fitted with steel suspension forks. They are horrible new and terrible when rusted. If you have to buy a cheap bike, buy one without suspension fork. Cheap bikes also come with horrible tyres. Replace them as soon as you can afford. Replace also front rim brakes with...

    Help me buy an ebike

Cheap bikes tend to rust. Even anodised parts such as suspension forks, outer cables, stems, saddles, propstands, brakes, chains, pedals, chains, rings and cranks. Good bikes don't rust. Most common subjects are how to derestrict my bike, how to add a throttle, how to replace my battery.

Motor for 130 mm rear drop outs

You may be better off going with a crank drive bottom bracket motor like the TSDZ2. It's not heavy.

sorry, brain fade moment. I was thinking about the guy who needed a rear hub motor with 130mm dropout, but I replied to the wrong thread! Apologies.

the self administered scheme suits tiny firms, employing a few people or one person businesses. It gives you (or your employer) full control how much you want to charge for rent, like £1 a month. The limitation is £1,000 because it does not require a credit license. The buy back value should...

I replied to one part of your post, then reply to the next part in the second edit, and on to the third and so on, the reason is I don't want to litter the thread with too many small posts. It's just a habit (not an excuse), because I have not changed the previous replies nor the thinking on my...

It's usually to correct the typos. Also, I still think in French way and type out in English. Most of the time it's OK but reading back, I can put the same thoughts in better English in subsequent edits. I do this in bed with my phone and it sometimes changes the spelling unexpectedly

I borrowed that one. I do buy my own bikes on ebay. As I said before, there are ways to avoid taxes for those who can't be caught. The point is, I would like senior members, those who help out with their expertise, not to recommend Chinese Internet shops unless it's unavoidable.

The problem is how do you punish misdeclarations when they aren't done by UK citizens. Anti dumping is made ineffective by various schemes. I assemble bikes in Southend-On-Sea, so I don't pay ADD but I can't export my bikes because of the Chinese manufactured content. If Chinese Internet shops...

Cycle to work is salary sacrifice, it's not benefit in kind. No need to declare on P11D. I created the self administered c2w contract for £1000 bike that I email to anyone wanting to use it.

never under-estimate the length that people go about solving problems like taxes. Only the threat of huge fines or jail for those responsible works. However, how can UK government fine a website or jail its owner in China? Look at it: the anti-dumping legislation is still very much in place...

Which Chinese firm would arrange for a local bike shop or a mobile mechanic to fit a part if the customer can't do this himself or herself? They contract out the shipping part. The rest is done by Chinese staff remotely. When you look at paying for staff, just ask them how many have UK office...

I agree with you on the unavailability of a lot of products. Maplin could have done it but they have gone. We don't unfortunately have a large sector in kit parts. With the exception of Swytch, sales made by local businesses are too small to even come near to critical mass. Since 2020, we have...
