FWIW I'd be more inclined to knock on a few doors of any likely-looking houses near the station and see if any old folk's up for letting you leave your bike with them for a quid a day or whatever
While neither The Lady Wife nor myself wear a magic hat, I can quite see the point of youngsters being made to wear them (if in fact parents are still allowed to make their kids do anything) until they're old enough to be relatively sensible.
I do though wonder where it's all going to end...
With respect, it might be to you but in the absence of a hand signal, it isn't to anyone following you.
Not condoning what matey in the van did, just pointing out that there's more than one way of looking at the situation shown in that clip.
Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the bike. I can see it's got a hub motor in the back, but is that bike legal on UK roads?
Ooops - just seen that my question's already been answered.
Thank you flecc. I know I've only just had my second coffee, but even so I guess I'm having a brainfart here. By "road speed", do you mean max road speed to which the motor alone will drive the bike?
Just goes to show - we live in a hilly area, which both he and I consider to be the natural home of a crank-drive electric bicycle. It obviously didn't occur to either of us that we might think differently if we were in the Fens ...
