    Oxygen S Cross E-Bike!

Oh - OK. I've only seen the one on the wife's Big Bear, that only goes to 1. Sometimes wish I had one that went to 11:)

    Oxygen S Cross E-Bike!

Surely you can't do that with an LCD, you can only go to level 1. Mine is an led display and can be turned to zero.

do you go further on ebike or more on unpowered?

I've always been a utility/leisure cyclist. In my mid to late 20's I lived without a car and commuted about 6 miles into work. Some nights I would go and see a mate near Warwick, a round journey of about 26 miles, on a 10 speed road bike. It used to kill me. Hills and wind have always been a...

    Oxygen S Cross E-Bike!

Hi Mal, I use Schwalbe marathon plus. Getting on for 4000 miles and only one puncture which was a thorn that went through the whole tube to the rim, so not much chance there. As a road tyre they're great, good rolling resistance and grip seems OK for me. Some say that these plus slime tubes...

    Another conversion looms.. suggestions please

I agree, that frame looks like a shoe in for a rear hub with, perhaps, a battery in an in frame triangle bag.

    Battery case

Some time ago I put a Panda kit on this bike and had Jimmy make a battery to fit in a bag I already had and it looked like this However, I intended to use the battery on my own bike as well, when mounted it looked like this :  So I enquired about battery bags, but despite D8veh's help...

Do you cycle your ebike in the rain?

I have the good fortune to be a leisure cyclist, however I do get caught in the rain. My bike has an led display, not LCD, and I've sealed the joint with self amalgamating tape. Battery is rear rack type so is in my 'rain shadow' along with the controller box. I've made sure the cable entry...

What a workhorse, but how is your front rack mounted, doesn't it stop your suspension from working?

New wisper 905 torque a few easy questions

Should be about right, some manufacturers use the 10% allowance so could be 17mph.

New wisper 905 torque a few easy questions

Hi Malcom, Don't know the bike specifically, but a new 575wh battery should be well capable of a 20 mile round journey, even towing your son. Of course wind and your own stamina will make a difference on any one day. I would charge at the end of each day. As the battery ages you may have to...

    Is this ok?

Hi Fin, I'd say 15 miles on setting 3, that's pretty good. Depends on terrain, how much effort you're putting in, wind etc. etc. Last Sunday I rode about 11 miles, on my Ezee conversion, to a little coastal village. This meant a climb out of my village, a descent into and climb out of another...

News: £1.2bn Cycling & Walking Investment unveiled

And yet there are now complaints about the level of polution at and outside schools, with higher levels of asthma etc. We were exorted to go to diesel because of co2, now we have too high a Nox level. Where is there to go? But no-ones saying it. There must be an overall reduction in energy...
