    Questions about Salisbury LPX

I had a Saulsbury and returned it as batt did not meet 26 mile range at all. About 20 tops on rolling terran. With similar weight to you. But over 30 with 26v 8 Amp batt on my BH. So expect 15 ish on a good day with the battery you have and circa 10 on bad day. But it still runs easier than a...

recommendations for bike for 12 mile commute each way

The BH race is derestrictable with the Panasonic drive then 16mph is easy. Cruses at over 20 on flat and holds 16 on gentle slopes. Gets silly on downhill sections. The earlier model change the rear to 11teeth and front up from 9. The later one you need to spoof the speed sensor and speed...

    BH Panasonic clicky drive

On investigation and use of circlip pliers the noise is now gone.realigned the chain wheels. The chain also needs replacing and KMC do an ebike chain so that is sorted and my new BH race purrs along at silly speeds. ;-)

    Hi from Sussex

The gearing is pants for flat/downhill a new front set perhaps around 33 44 56 ish would give you a higher road down hill speed. you need to spin the cranks as the lycras say to ger the speed up. they rely on light fast muscle and high cadence for speed and power. Ignore the abuse it is...

    Hi from Sussex

Welcome Eddie Don't bin tne chain ring unless you need to it gives you a backup slow no power option and is a mod from standard if you sell the bike even though I agree you never normally use it. The un assist speeds are slow and feel like lead after assist that is normal E bike feel...

    Consequence of sprocket size change?

RPM is simple cadence * chainring/cogteeth ie cadence 60 *36 chainring/12 cog = 60*3= 191 rpm. To OP if origonal gave motor cut out at 60 rpm then old wheel did 3 2/11 times 60 (about 191 rpm) then new Sprocket is 12 and rotates at 191 rpm and old wheel is still the same then the RPM will...
