Thanks flecc. I have enjoyed my last few years of manual riding, mainly recumbents with a little mountain biking but with knee ligaments as strong as elastic bands I think it's time to accept those days are behind me.

There's actually two different versions of the Yamaha motor in their range, not all of them are the range topping PW-X. The more basic motor drops off power at higher cadences. The small Bosch chainring is there so the motor doesn't have to be geared down as much, remember electric motors do...

Hmm, dunno, I sold his Volt folding ebike a couple of years ago for £900-something, new price had been 1200. Mostly with ebikes I've got closer to two thirds. No contact from the buyer yet, which is frustrating.
