As above buyKT, one may have to carry out some minor wiring . Santroll are OEM only and are typical of most china controllers in being speed controlled , the KT is the only one that isn't and is the reson why they are soooo good.

One won't be able to use a KT lcd/display it will be incompatible. To use a KT lcd one needs to upgrade the controller to a KT as well.

I changed my post as incorrectly posted it. If you change your P9 to 0001 then the throttle should become inactive and will operate only with pedalling. According to the manual your throttle should be zero start but it isn't ? So maybe they have worded the manual incorrectly.

Non zero start means you have a twist and go active throttle always. Zero means it is active only when pedalling or have actuated the pedals first.

Don't cut the white wire , it isn't a speed wire but just a signal wire used (for a Hall sensor in the hub) to display ones actual road speed. Any white wire to cut would be insid ethe controller and not an exterior wire.
