Pretty much the same as kinninvie, BBS02, 2500 miles, reprogrammed for performance far greater than factory spec. Majority of riding is forest tracks, off road terrain etc.. Only had to relube the final drive a couple of times, as it gets a little noisy over time. Easy job to carry out though.

Just to add to brightonebike's comments, the 'Keep Current' setting at 20% is great for economy and cruising. When it comes to hills though, it tends to force the motor to bog down, as it wants more current to run optimally. The system is already limiting the current when in PAS modes other...

Yer not wrong. Was in HMV the other day, and some of the albums were 20 quid plus. I balk at the cost of FLAC downloads these days, but as you say, at least they are free from crackles and pops lol.

Power aside, you've got to think about long term reliability and down time of electric bikes. You are far more likely to be able to acquire replacement parts for the BBSHD, than the TSDZ2. Plus, there is a greater wealth of knowledge on maintaining the Bafang units, especially over on Endless...
