Did you try leaving it on the charger for an extended period of time? I would have thought a battery of that capacity would last longer than two years, unless you are constantly drawing mega amps from it.

Adding to what Kinninvie said, you've also got to factor in when buying from overseas, you might get a dud. If you purchase a battery from China, only to find that it's either not the correct item, or that it's not working as it should, you will have a major ball-ache trying to get it...

Why not go for the BBS02 instead. The BBSHD is heavier and you won't feel short changed with a 25 amp controller instead of 30. I can recommend Eclipse Bikes in the UK. It's where I bought mine from. They've got battery packs with Samsung 30Q cells, which are ideal for the BBS02...

Are you sure it doesn't just need balancing? You could trying leaving it on the charger for a day or two, to see if it improves the performance.

Hee hee, just used this stuff on my car alloy wheels, and it's done a grand job of getting rid of the baked on brake dust. Reckon it's kinder to the alloy and brake parts, than the 'Wonder Wheels' type of stuff too.

I know it's not politically correct, but you'd be surprised how many people still use the terms fast and slow lane. You are totally correct about some drivers just not understanding the rules of the motorway, maybe due to hearing these terms and taking them too literally.

I'll be honest and say that the name Bergamont is a bit, well, old fashioned sounding. Doesn't have the same ring as brands such as KTM, Haibike, Scott, Cannondale, GT etc.....

Agree with Rob. Scott has arguably better forks. If it were me though, I'd go for the style and colour scheme I prefer, which is the Haibike.

Exactly the same thing happened to me on my BBS02 a few months back. Had thoughts of bust internals and was very near to walking the bike home, until I spotted the problem. As you discovered, you can still propel the bike with a hub motor, but not with crank drive.
