    I'm completely wrong, it is the motor hall sensor, I cut the wires off that and then put them together , I'm terrified now that I've caused loads of damage.

    I saw no smoke and there is no smell butt I did connect power a couple of times. I connected red blue yellow and green all to each other . That said Im pretty sure i had it all connected correctly at first, I only started messing around because it wasn't working.
