Seem to have the 29" version at Amazon
Eleglide Electric Bike, M2 27.5''/29'' Electric Bicycle for Adults, E Mountainbike, 36V 15Ah Removable Battery,Max Range 125KM, Dual Hydraulic Disk Brake, Shimano 24 Speed, APP https://amzn.eu/d/babjtVy
Just went out on a ride on my folding bike with the 1.44kg front akm-75 to see if I could detect any gyroscopic effect , didn't really notice anything, maybe slightly less "twitchy" steering compared with the original front wheel. Didn't really notice any difference in steering between it being...
I'd eliminate the Ridgeback (rim brakes), the metroneer is drop handlebars and quite light (easy for putting away) with 360wh battery
The Eleglide is tempting and good value, but if you can afford it I would go for the Santana, it's a safe bet, lots of good reports in here. Reassuring customer...
Ok 400g heavier but a rear hub cassette motor and you can get your own rim built

Are you going to try and build a lightweight road electric bike with similar characteristics out of generic parts ?
This would be my attempt
Bafang G370 hub...

I'm really surprised it isn't more popular as a lightweight kit, it avoids a lot of the disadvantages of a front wheel kit, can be pedalled unpowered with very little drag , can choose a suitable generic battery, can use KT controller and display, much cheaper than Cytronex (or x35 bikes)
Could...
The other "micro hub" is the 1.7kg Bafang G370 that @Nealh uses :

@Nealh - is it the 201 rpm version you have...
Yes , sorry I don't really have any answers, apart from perhaps selling your existing bike, buy a sub 10kg road bike off facebook marketplace (£500 for a nice one) and adding a AKM-75 front hub motor (1.44 kg) (or Bafang G370) and a top quality celled 36V 10Ah bag battery (1.8kg) and small LCD4...
How about a 1.44kg akm-75 hub 36v 201rpm motor, maybe build your own wheel , coupled with a 36v 10ah bag battery (1.8kg) with top quality cells (like the ones Woosh offers). Add a KT controller, little LCD4 and pas sensor. That's going to be less than 4 kg added. I think the 201 rpm version...
@saneagle what about rigging up a "generic" battery "in parallel" as some members have done with their Bosch systems ? ( I think this is how the x35 "range extenders" work)
Both of those are very good bikes ( the components are Chinese, incidentally !, but none the worse for that). Wisper customer service and support are excellent. The problem with buying second hand e-bikes (as several of us have found to our cost) is that you can't know the condition of the...
