can bus is a hand shake system to force you to buy there batts displays chargers ect but tbh im not surprised. imo you will be able to up the power settings but only using there batts! dump the controller and use a different one if thats the case.

every one said that at the start ie dongles blow up motors lol yet all they do is remove the speed limit. s class bosch motors are the same inside the only difference is they cut out at 28mph. my dongle cuts out at 36.5mph so it is pretty much geared to that speed but would be classed a r,race...

the small chain ring is 2.5 reduction so in normal size it would be a 53t. and 10 at the rear. the gen 4 motors now use normal size chain rings. that out geared the motor the one i use atm is 21t
