Decisions, decisions, decisions... Sidmouth, Peak hill.

Using the shorter coastal path route appears to flatten the route out - as long as its accessible and without stiles.

Maximum distance with kid on board?!

Get yourself an electric bike to accompany your kid on a normal bike to get him fit & healthy. Here's a news story of a six year old cycling 10 miles to school with his dad. http://www.gazette-news.co.uk/news/9155643.Ewan__six__is_forced_to_cycle_ten_miles_to_Heathlands_Primary_School_every_day/

    Sainsbury's Christmas Advert

Funnily enough Warhorse the movie set in WW1 was on last night - which was made ultimately to a make a profit for investors - So should that be included as something to be condemed (or any commercial film with a wartime theme) for "Crass commercialism"... Same for the The National Theatre's...

    KTM Corner

I got my ex-demo eRace P 29 in late May with a similar milage at a very good price and now done almost 700 miles on top of that without any problems - well there was one, a dinked rim, but Colin & Tom at FLI resolved it. I'd recommend a KTM - a bit like an Apple Mac over a PC! Just make sure...

Plus it now seems if in Europe esp Spain you'll need a 'Certificate of Conformity' to avoid getting pulled and heavily fined. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/justin-beba-or-just-out-of-beba.16823/page-4#post-242150

    Sainsbury's Christmas Advert

Wartime themes have cropped up before in advertising without such hallabaloo: I've gotten more angry at the Church on Rememberance Day when they preach the continuing quaint notion that God supposedly supported 'our' side and our boys (forgeting the enemy prayed to the same God!) - which...

justin beba.... or just out of beba?

Thanks for that clarification on how things work abroad - Sounds quite onerous and bureaucratic that even legal pedelecs need such documentation. If that kind of level enforcement came into UK could dealers handle the extra admin (and ensuing costs) if every owner needed them to supply...

justin beba.... or just out of beba?

The article (in a rather dubious looking paper) seems to be referring & warning about e-bikes (e-scooters) rather than pedelecs par se. A quick google says that a few European countries inc. Spain and France, e-scooters need Road Registration.

justin beba.... or just out of beba?

Has any pedelec, wether technicaly legal or not, been taken in for examination? Even though there aren't relatively many bicycles with electric motors surely one in the past decade or so must have been involved in a accident in the UK, and with a motor on it feasibly could have aroused police...

"Enforcement would be almost impossible, unless of course there is a serious accident, where the bike would be taken for inspection." justin beba.... or just out of beba?

If specific s-class law comes into force in the future, will existing s-class bikes 'on the road' get a free pass and what about less obvious home build kits? As discussed ad infinutm how wil it be enforced? - as visually the difference between a 250w and 350w pedelec bicycle would be hard to...

    Front Fork Shocks

Lock em rigid and that'lll give you a few more hours ;) Seriously it'll depend if you're racing around on them on rough ground or using them on the road/paths. Like top end Ohlins motorcycle shocks that if use for racing/track are meant to be serviced every 10 hours or if used on the street...
