    Wheel sizes 27.5" what?

Call me a cynic if you will, but IMHO, like so many other things bike related, it's been done (the 27.5 thing) to create more sales and make folk think they need to buy a new bike to keep up with the latest innovations. Completely unnecessary for the majority of cyclists. 26'' or 29er/700c...

A newbie who is clueless about E-bikes

Reading your post again I've only just noticed you'd already looked at this bike. Great minds think alike! And, if it does appeal to you, I think you'll find CyclEzee a thoroughly genuine helpful and alltogether nice guy to talk to and get advice from, given that you may have to end up buying...

A newbie who is clueless about E-bikes

For what it's worth this Heinzmann bike is the sort of thing I personally would choose for your - presumably predominantly riding on-road - scenario. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/bikes/heinzmann-pan-etr-u-2/ Hub motor for general ease of use Decent capacity battery in frame - helps general...

A newbie who is clueless about E-bikes

Hi Andy I have a rear hub drive bike with an Ezee motor and a thumb throttle to use if needed. (Useful for that initial push off from traffic lights on a hill for instance) I also have a Bosch motor crank drive bike. I'm also a big chap, bit of back trouble etc., and live in very hilly...

Torque and Rotation (Cadence) Sensing - Clarification Question

Agree totally with John and Rob. Personally, I enjoy having the option of either discipline. Depending on how I feel when I get up in the morning,;)

Interesting cheap Chinese bike on e-bay

Dave Just to let you know that both the Cobra bikes on ebay listed by rally-design, this one and the full price one, have 'hydraulic discs' stated in the item specifics, whilst in the individual descriptions both have 'mechanical discs' correctly mentioned. Not nit picking - just hopefully being...

Merida 29er Hardtail 36v bottle battery 500w rear hub motor cyclotricity kit for SALE

Hi Adam See your bike is still for sale on eBay. What precise Merida model did you use as donor? What frame size and what height are you? I wondered why you were selling as you seemed very happy with your conversion a year ago. Would there be much life left in the battery? Cheers Tony

Where to try Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro 29er?

If you get down to Cornwall on holiday any time you can willingly have a 20 mile trail ride on mine :) (That's the Cube - not the one in the photo!)

Thank you forum! & a few thoughts about buying an e-bike.

I have a Bosch crank drive mountain bike and a converted touring bike with an Ezee hub motor. I enjoy them both but they are totally different riding experiences. The crank drive bike gives me far more of a workout and the response provided proportionate to effort put in is very rewarding...

    eZee e-Rex Fatboy Prototype

Wish I could afford a third e-bike John. That would be just 'ansum for long invigorating rides along the beach. Maybe I could do a demo campaign for you ;) They've got plenty of brass at Rock with their £2m second homes. Bet they'd all want one !!! Would work a bit better than pushing this:

Thumbs up for the eZee conversion kit

Having just completed a 310 mile ride for charity around the entire Cornish coastline, I have to say how impressive the eZee motor has been throughout the ride. 26 hours pedalling 311 miles 20,823 feet of ascent All this carrying me at fifteen and a half stone, two 14AH batteries, and two...

    Tonys Ride

DONE IT !!!!!!!!!! Having got to Portreath after a long 55 miles ride last Wednesday, I really needed a day off on Thursday. The issue then was to find a weather slot for three consecutive days to get the 110 miles up the north coast to Barnstaple completed. Because of there being no rail links...
