There is nothing to like about this bike. Fork is a disaster, controller is crap (as you have noticed yourself), brakes are mediocre at best. Battery is small and probably of poor quality.
You can buy a good new hybrid bike with rigid fork and hydraulic disc brakes for £100. Add kit worth £350...
Value of a second hand item is exactly price accepted by both seller and buyer. To find average value you have to find auctions of similar items and wait till somebody buys them.
BTW now is not a good time to sell bike. Wait till spring.
Also take into account general condition of a cycling...
I am sorry... I like to work on my bikes in my bedroom. Not sure how my wife is coping with that. Don't worry about anything, just get bike inside and do what you have to do.
How would I know? Trains? Busses? But they can't get on foot to Norway as they are unwanted. Norway closed border for all pedestrians and migrants just try to find way around.
Point of origin of migrants is irrelevant. The point is bikes on pictures are not used to travel over any long distances. Somebody is selling them on a border to migrants so they could cross the border not as pedestrians.
They are stripped of anything of value
I didn't read it all, but as I understand the articles, migrants don't use bicycles to travel from China to Norway. They just use cheap bikes to cross the border as pedestrian traffic is banned. They exploit the loophole. Don't need saddle or brakes for that.
I watched in horror when driver kept on reversing. I thought cyclist was under, but luckily I was wrong. Yes, driver said "I didn't see him", but he was in a van, well above other cars, so he just didn't look I think.
I hope you don't use this smart plug at home and don't put your life at risk just to save few pennies.

I witnessed a slow speed accident today at Lidl car park. Driver of a van was reversing and didn't notice a cyclist. Cyclist tried to stop, but lost control on wet surface and fell while driver kept on reversing. Luckily only bike ended up under wheels.
Good brakes are critical. A few inches...
Brake sensors are not necessary, but installing them is a good practice. Please don't save few pounds and skip this point.
For example you can use them as a clutch while changing gears.
I bought a battery on Amazon marketplace. It was faulty, so seller sent me prepaid labels to print and put on package. Then I had to take it to the post office and they accepted it with no problems.
Best to contact seller for advice on how to send it back.
You confuse 250W rated power limit with speed limit. At this moment you can buy perfectly legal 250W e-bike capable to ride at 20-30mph. It is 15.5mph limit that restricts maximum assisted speed.
You can also buy a speed pedelec and legally travel at speeds above 15.5mph.
