Hi - I have a few questions about what to choose?

Not at all. They can greatly improve efficiency and crime detection ratio by installing trackers.

Hi - I have a few questions about what to choose?

Front or rear hub 250W. BBSHD on your step through with rim brakes is an error of judgement.

Hi - I have a few questions about what to choose?

See? You slowly start to see how ridiculous it is what they put on gov web page you quoted. Almost every single e-bike in UK can reach power higher than 250W. What does it mean? All of them are illegal? 250W limit is set on "continuous (or constant) output power specified by manufacturer, at...

It is all rubbish. I am sorry to say, but time when you could access best information on uk.gov pages is long gone.

Hi - I have a few questions about what to choose?

I don't think it is a scam. Price is about right for this motor and this battery. You can have it from PSW Power for more or less the same money, but they don't have this motor in UK at this moment.

Oh yeah... that... I am sorry to say, but it is a disinformation. Quite embarrassing.

Reprogramming controller to 250W won't make BBSHD legal.

Immune? No, but legality impacts if you can be insured or not.

    500w E Bike ins

Just to clarify some things for you. In UK there is a legal limit on motor rated power. There is no legal limit on how much power you can pump through your motor. So you can theoretically have legal motor which is more powerful than your illegal one. Your situation is a bit like having a huge...

    EBay Batteries

I didn't have any problems with PSW so far. Recycling battery is not a big problem, so I think my next battery will be from PSW. £158 difference is just to big to ignore. I am not sure where you found information about Greenlance making batteries in UK, but I will take your word for that.

    500w E Bike ins

Do you use your bikes on roads only? It makes a very little sense to register bike with 500W motor as speed pedelec. I think Thelarkbox gave you best advice. If I were you I would just try to change motor to legal one.

    EBay Batteries

How are they cheap? You can have 19.2Ah 48V 30A battery on Samsung cells from PSW for £192

Hi - I have a few questions about what to choose?

Buying 750W or 1000W motor for a road bike is like shooting your own foot. There are no benefits and all what you will get is pain. Buy 250W rated motor and set controller for 500W or 750W if you must. You will have a legal bike and more power than you really need.

Help! Where can I get a good ebike battery UK

Not really. Buying different battery or changing controller settings won't make your bike legal.
