    Brexit, for once some facts.

It is a de facto experiment, regardless of your take on who made what decisions that resulted in it happening.

But we have been warned about the Bell clan... :)

It is impossible to separate out Mercola's business interests from these documents. By appearing to take on the establishment, he will be appealing to certain groups. I have been aware of Mercola for many years and I'm afraid that I became less and less convinced of anything he said. He...

Which will dovetail very neatly with: It comes as PCR tests are taking up to five days for results in Scotland and a shortage of lateral flow tests in England threaten New Year’s Eve plans. I foresee us being told to stay in isolation for five days - but not knowing (for sure) until after that...

It was meant very generally, and I don't want to go into my details. There were reasons and it started before primary school.

I am heartily sick of trying to interpret the basic words used. Half the time Mercola (and many others) are flogging products claimed to boost our immune systems. The other half they are flogging products that are claimed to help with immune systems that have been boosted too much. If someone...

I think I was rather the other way - I felt I should know things and suffered from embarrassment and awkwardness when I didn't know whatever. Nowadays, I find it easy to say that I don't know something. But I'd still rather actually know.

What gets me so often is the apparent pride in being ignorant. Some seem to wear ignorance as a badge and proclaim it at every opportunity. Or, at least, display it. Not that knowing something is necessarily any form of badge of honour. We all know some things and not others. Very often the...

Yes - the Welsh government has figures and they have been good at making them available. But when something seems to claim it is UK, then it damn well should cover all four nations.

Heartily sick of government statistics - that only cover England. Despite a specific mention of Scottish areas! Much of the time, I wish there was an England-specific site, so I'd know not to bother. Nonetheless, your point is quite clear. :)

The Mirror is right. Express, Mail and Times seem more exercised by doubling, or tripling, of energy bills. About which Johnson appears not to give a damn - as usual.

And he seems to be hiding at Chequers. Remind me why he spent a fortune on that media centre? Oh yes - to watch films.

Looks like we are set up for a huge experiment. NI, S and W restricting and E not. (E not restricting before New Year effectively means not until at least the 5th due to the need to recall HoC which I doubt can even be started before the 3rd. And we have been told it will take 48 hours minimum.)...

We all know that anything even vaguely medical sees a huge uplift in prices! (Some of that is justified by the need to demonstrate effectiveness, etc.) But, yes, they shouldn't be that incredibly expensive. Especially if some large organisation bought them in considerable numbers.

"Real" sourdough isn't so easy when you are making smaller quantities. I make a loaf or two, then slice and freeze it and make it last a week or three. That was why I was interested in, and bought, the Sekowa. Gives a lot of the flavour of sourdough but sits in the cupboard ready to prepare...

Blessed are the cheesemakers... Brexit: ‘the biggest disaster any government has ever negotiated’ A British cheesemaker who predicted Brexit would cost him hundreds of thousands of pounds in exports has called the UK’s departure from the EU single market a disaster, after losing his entire...

A rye+mostly wholewheat+a little French white made without yeast using a Sekowa Special Baking Ferment. On the peel - in case it isn't clear. I really like the effect some rye has on flavour, texture and toasting quality. The colour of the toasted areas is much redder than with other grains.

I had virtually none to the Pfizer/BioNTech which was used as a booster for me. Just slightly more discomfort when injected and around the injection site for the next few days. Only an observation, not an issue.

From my point of view, other than as a prop, might as well go in the bin if you replace the movement with an electronic one.
