Help! How much will i gain by goinv 48v

Batteries don't need charging every night if the usage is light ( short distance) and depends on the battery ah . My 44v 6ah battery I can get aprox. 20 - 30 miles dependant on the weather , headwinds and time of year, etc, etc , often if only using it locally I will only charge it once a week.

    Two types of Charger required?

Cordless tools are so much more portable and easier to use , no need for 110v on site or trailing extension leads. I use ryobi 1+ muitple tools using the same battery , my original nicads gave up the ghost a few years ago but the lithiums packs I have now some are 14 years old and still hold...

    3-D Printer

I have found that when stacking stuff , aligning is the most hard bit and I don't even own a printer. I'm just tinkering to see if I need a printer or not.

    3-D Printer

In tinkercad one can change the shape of an object. That said having played with tinkercad , I can see Croxden's point of view and have not found it straight forward to use initially . I expect if I play with it for another or 3 months I might get the hang of it , but it wastes so much of my time.

Help! Giant Twist Express rs2 problem

Just had a look at your pic of the front wheel and the fault is the damaged White cable from the controller to motor wheel connector. If you look carefully one can see in two places where the cable is damaged, in one place the cable is severly damaged and has been badly indented . One can...

Help! Giant Twist Express rs2 problem

There is no fault in the manual that mentions your LED issue , though it does mention a reset so one could try the reset. Have you checked the batteries , try removing them and then reinserting them.

Help! How much will i gain by goinv 48v

The gain will only be noticed if one wants speed and a bit more torque if on a hilly route. Usally range will be increased but that is of no significance on such a short run.

Help! How much will i gain by goinv 48v

Don't mix chems as the discharge curve and rate is very different. For a 6 milie commute matching ah likely isn't going to be critical but for me I was utilising mine on 100 - 160k rides.

Help! How much will i gain by goinv 48v

Kirsten rarely posts now but uses the new monika of Titanium alex. For a booster one needs to use the same battery chem so the discharge pattern is similar, as with paralleling when one places the two packs in series the single cell voltages need to be much the same other wise lvc will be...

    Never-tackle-an-e-bike-battery-fire-yourself-warns-fire-brigade-after-another-blaze

There is a lot of common sense lacking in this thread and to much hysteria . Nearly all fires we see or hear about are down to inappropriate chargers being used and lack of judgement in charging techinques. Years ago this forum was a good place to come to for advise with no nonsense and great...

Lishui Bluetooth Controller, programming the easy way

If they are using std LSW firmware then you may be ok, as Woosh says there is the option of custom firmware to prevent end users going elsewhere to buy spares. That way one is forced to pay Switches price.
