    New Kit

no, abnormal Hall signal can be caused by the motor overheating or broken Hall wires wires. Check the motor connection first, if no joy, return the wheel to the vendor.

    Gsm vs bbs01

Wooshes current test bike with the GSM kit is the same bike that had the BBS01 18A 350W a year ago, Jim took the old motor out and put the GSM in. I assume the GSM has the same chainline. You may have to ask Andy @ woosh to confirm this.

Lightweight Ebike for on road only

Conversion yes, not that I can find among the ready builts. Its electrics is similar to the Boardman that d8veh converted with the Oxygen 13AH kit for the Gadget Show.

    Gsm vs bbs01

when riding with the power off, the bike feels a bit heavy, you carry about 7.5 kgs extra weight but that's normal with all e-bikes. As with all crank drives, you soon forget the extra weight because the wheels spin freely and the pedals feel totally normal. The bottom bracket is secured with...

Can you retrofit a throttle to ebike?

that's possible only on some. Which bike do you have in mind?

King Meter Error 30 Kudos Typhoon

Error 30 on the King Meter LCD can come from 3 possible sources, LCD, controller, trunk cable. It could be caused by rain water getting into the electrics. Take out the LCD, remove the plastic cover for the LCD battery from the under side then put the LCD in a plastic bag with some rice grain...

woosh will have in December a larger framed Krieger with 650B wheels, HL battery, front and rear Avid BB5 disc brakes. In the meantime, take a look at the Sirocco CDL with 700C wheels. http://wooshbikes.co.uk/?sirocco-cdl

    Quietest conversion kit?

kits come practically 100% with throttle, don't worry about that. Don't worry also about the noise of crank drive kits, they are very, very quiet in comparison to bikes with front motors. The noise comes from the gearbox. A good gearbox (like in crank drive kits or a double stage reduction...

Will the end of full speed throttles in January 2016 cause a rush to buy.

what do you expect the response time to be from the moment someone stops pedalling to motor cutting out? Whilst it's normal to expect in the case of torque sensor input that to be near instantaneous because most torque sensored bikes do not have brake sensor, when applied to a bike with brake...

    Quietest conversion kit?

I can confirm that the Xiongda XD motor is very quiet but I wouldn't go for it because one of the samples I tried has locked up on me, to me, that was a design weakness. If I had to choose a hub motor, the bmsbattery's Q128H 48V rear hub kit is very quiet, powerful and cheap.

Are Raleigh bikes any good these days?

while you are waiting for KD, in my experience, it's the controller that determines how gutsy your bike goes uphill. BPM motors have 180mm diameter, generic motors 120mm. BPM bikes can run with 15A, 17A and 20A controllers. You have to ask the manufacturer which. With a 20A controller, you...

    Zippy 13000

that lipo pack is a fire hazard. It has 40C discharge rating, if it goes off, it will set fire to the other pouch cells, the whole thing can set fire to your house. You should put it in a bucket of water and take it out of the house. Add salt to the water in the bucket and leave it to gently...

    Hello!

kits are about as noisy as ready made bikes. If you want low noise, look out for two things: 'sine wave controller' and crank drive. The quietest combination is sine wave and direct drive but they are not good on hills, heavy and consume too much battery power. Out of the popular bikes, bikes...
