Current new bike came with 26" x 2.00 tyres as standard.
Going to replace them with Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTB's.
The Marathons come in two sizes for my wheel; 26" x 1.75 and 26" x 2.10
Would the 1.75 be ok to fit onto the current wheel?
I'm thinking along the lines of how car tyre widths need...
Spotted a job lot of used lithium batteries on eBay today. Might interest someone living near the Cambridge area as pick up only ;)

I reckon 52 cells is probably nearing the limit of how many cells one can fit in this type of casing.
d8veh might have opened one up, so he should be able to give you a definitive answer on this one ;)
That's without doubt a Brucie bonus with these batteries. My previous Ping split pack was strictly non removable. Even with the 5 amp charger, a 3 hour stop at home would be a pain, if the weather was good and I wanted to stay out and play.
Thought the dimensions might be a bit of a squeeze in the frame at first, but once I incorporated that angle at the rear, there's plenty of room.
Someone certainly gave this design a good bit of thought :)
Thanks for those dimensions d8veh. I was trying to explain the length at the top of the battery.
In the link showing the battery, there is the 'c' in eclipse ebikes at the top of the picture.
So the length measured from the 'c' to the front edge of the battery where it starts to slope.
With the...
Could someone be kind enough to measure from the top edge at the rear of the battery, along to where it starts to slope at the front of the battery.. please :)
I'm trying to make a template, but that angled shape at the rear, is difficult to judge without a few more dimensions.
I'm guessing that these popular frame battery packs all utilize the same size battery casing:

Once the docking bracket is in place, how much clearance in the frame, do you require to dock and undock the battery?
This might sound like a silly question, but how tight does the pedelec community have their quick release levers?
I like mine really tight and have to use a fair bit of force to push the lever home.
Am I likely to damage anything, or is it a case of the tighter the better?
Well spotted. There's also a few negative feedback comments, that makes the seller less than squeaky clean!
Funny thing is, it shows 100% feedback with a score of 373, until you go into their feedback record o_O
CSI pedelecs, we're onto you :D
