Will the end of full speed throttles in January 2016 cause a rush to buy.

I assume the ones you rode come from regular Chinese bike importers. Their bikes aren't mopeds now, then why alluding that their bikes are mopeds after December 31st?

Will the end of full speed throttles in January 2016 cause a rush to buy.

Col, you haven't ridden a bike with a throttle have you? the new regulations won't affect the regular Chinese bike importers much if at all, just a little tweak to the bike's programming to set the maximum speed of the throttle. Four out of five people who use a throttle only need it to help...

A almost perfect bike that needs to be returned

Todd, you can use the throttle to get the bike to self-propel up the steps if you can't manage pushing it up. Instead of the thrttle, perhaps use the walk mode by holding the down button for a few seconds. If the bike goes up the stairs faster than you, squeeze the brakes. The weather is still...

Will the end of full speed throttles in January 2016 cause a rush to buy.

I don't think there will be a rush. At least not until September - October 2016 if and when the full throttle is outlawed. I guess the police won't be interested in stopping pensioners to check their bikes, ever. Not here, not in Europe either.

Free or discounted mega moving sale!

you need to drop the price much faster than £5 a day to sell before you move. let's say an item is normally selling for £100 new, regardless whether from bmsbattery.com or cyclezee.com. IMHO: less 20% for scratches less 20% for mileage less 10% for quick sale Your starting price is 50% of new...

tuning my bike for more speed

by 'criminal', I mean morally reprehensible, a villain, a delinquent, a sinner within our middle class bourgois society and should be singled out and ticked off at the next parish councillors' meeting.

tuning my bike for more speed

we know the police are unlikely to take action (unless someone is involved in an accident) in all three examples from me and one from d8veh. Let's leave the consequences aside if there were an accident because I am sure we are all old enough for that. There will be a new moral problem very soon...

tuning my bike for more speed

what is more criminal? 1) you go into the LCD and change the speed limit or 2) you drive at 85mph on the M25 or French toll motorways or 3) use one of these on the pavement?

    Wisper 906 alpino, motor dismantle?

usually with a mallet. The most difficult stage is to remove the magnetic core. You'd need a good vice and strong arms. This thread has plenty of pictures of the internals of a similar motor: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=35204

Threaded headset slightly sticky in straight ahead... Replace?

if your headset feels notchy or slightly loose, then you will need to re-install it anyway. Clean and plenty of grease. If it still feels notchy after you have greased it then the bearings need replacing.

Suspension seatpost, unusual assembly method :)

would you believe me if I said these springs rust? The KS sprung seat posts are pretty good - the worst I came across are Zoom seat posts. They have an annoying side to side swivel because the rod is a bit loose inside the guide. I still am looking for a good ordinary sprung seat post besides...

Suspension seatpost, unusual assembly method :)

don't be too harsh to the people at KS. The plastic bag is supposed to keep the grease in and should last the warranty period. Without it, the grease would have been washed out before the year ends.
