Accident with a pedestrian on my ebike

Nope, doesn`t say that, it declares "However, if it has pedals and is mainly used as a conventional bicycle (unicycle, tricycle, tandem or triplet) and only has electric assistance then it would be covered." i`m just going by their own t`s & c`s

Accident with a pedestrian on my ebike

From their FAQ`s... seems any pedal assisted ebike is ok with them??? Is my Electric Cycle covered? If so, what are the restrictions? Where the main source of propulsion is electrical, the cycle would not be covered as it would be classified as a motor vehicle, in which case it should...

    Bafang 750w Cheapest UK Price

Don`t rule out China, <-- my BBS02 750W mtb conversion with a 13aH Battery inc. shipping came in at £550. Import duties via FedEx @ £26 = Total £576. From BTN, they`ll be cheaper now that the new 1000W HD version is selling. Now you`re far from finished there, i reckon before you`re done you...

    BBS02 bottom bracket size?

Decent looking bike that for a BBS HD conversion, 100mm version should fit ok. The frame should take a `watter bottle` battery as well, wouldn`t go below 13aH tho`. Or a frame bag with a beefy 25aH or similar. And hydraulic brakes after that.

Cadence Sensor, Torque Sensor or Throttle?

Very true flecc, my first ebike was a 250w rear hub motor. All went well at first, i took it to the local parks, canal towpaths etc, it seemed to handle those places with their moderate gradients with ease. So then we moved on to our local country roads - that`s where the hub motor failed...

    Handlebar height

That`s the problem i came across when building my ebike, the mtb straight bars were awful, weight was all on the elbow and shoulder joints. I changed them for one of the `north road` comfort bars, more upright stance, you can see they're a fair bit higher than the seat <- see my avatar.

What advance in bicycle technology has impressed you the most?

And these were the batteries for the `lamp`! The rain would get at them and they`d fall apart - early `60`s i think?

Which is more ethical - Woosh or Cyclotrocity?

by the way are there any British built bicycle/e-bike companies still left in the U.K? And i mean `built` not assembled. I somehow doubt it.

Which is more ethical - Woosh or Cyclotrocity?

Hah!! `Ethics and environmental considerations` these go right out the window when there`s a pound to be made in this game and try and overlook `the moral high ground` waffle of dubious dealers. You`ll find most e-bike parts have their origins in China and Asia anyhow, as do a lot of things...
