    Electric Trike Carrier

it's a long read but you get the gist of it here: http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/1-1-2016-todays-change-in-the-law.23007/page-7 Trust me, you are not alone.

    Electric Trike Carrier

haven't you read HelenJ's post? we all have two more years suspension before the throttle is illegal. The new date is 1/1/2018. By then, if you still need the throttle on your NEW bike, it's £50 license fee from the VCA.

would you mind revealing whom you buy the new kit from? 650B may be but 650A is certainly not a popular size for rims.

    It's goodbye from him,

electric trikes are a bit tricky to ride at first, but you can get used to it in about an hour. The main thing is to set your speed limit to about 10-11mph so that the throttle does not frighten you and learn to slow down, be steady and calm when turning corners. There are trikes with rear...

    Electric Trike Carrier

dead right. The rim sizes always confuse me. I much prefer to go by what is printed on the tyres because the rim tapes (26 x 16 in this case) can be misleading. Your tyre 26 x 1 3/8 EA3, Continental, City Ride means that you can google it up if in doubt and get their ISO number, 37-590 Ann, not...

    Newbie with £1000

you shouldn't pay too much attention to the brand at this level of prices. Most bikes except the Groove are Chinese imports. Commuter bikes need to be capable and low maintenance. More AHs and strong motors are always useful.

    Hello from Kingston

Nothing replaces some test rides really. Food for thought on possible replacements for £1000 budget: woosh Zephyr-B. It has good BPM motor, hydraulic brakes front and rear, full suspension, will climb almost any hill and it folds. http://wooshbikes.co.uk/?zephyr-b

    Leaving the EU

UKIP's figures (£33 millions a day * 365 days) are more or less same as CBI's £10 billions net cost a year. Where UKIP differs with the CBI is on the net cost of economic activity. The CBI believes that EU membership give our economy a lot more than it costs. I don't really care that much about...

    Leaving the EU

don't blame me for these figures, they are the CBI's. There will be winners and losers like in every change. Most of us, pensioners, have probably nothing to worry about, we'll be likely among the winners but our children may be losers. The 62 billions figure comprises likely the higher achieved...

    Leaving the EU

the CBI put the net cost of Britain's contributions to the EU at around 10 billions and economic benefits at around 62 billions. Leaving the EU would bring living cost down but would hurt our income too.

woosh sell a lot of bikes to commuters. All the models above have been out for a few years. The crank drive bikes (Santana CD and Santana CDL) have slightly better weight distribution than the hub drive bikes.

    Leaving the EU

mortgage rates in the Euro zone tend to be lower and much more stable than ours. I think the real reason for us not joining the Euro is that we need to print a lot of paper money to keep our banks afloat.

1-1-2016 Today's Change in the Law.

so we can keep the throttle until 1/1/2018. What will happen if we vote to get out of the EU before that?

Sealed Cartridge Wheel bearings v Cup and Cone Type

the reason for using cup and cone BB is not so much because they are cheap but because of the longer BB shell length on some frames, especially when the battery is behind the seat post. You can't find BBs with sealed bearings for shells longer than 83mm. The old design lets water in, causing...
