The Vengeance charger is a dumb two wire one. The Crossfire one has comms of some sort, so they're not compatible. You can charge the Vengeance with any cheap Chinese charger, but the Crossfire needs the special one. You're going to have to cough up or try and find a used one.

It's just the contacts between the actual LCD and the pcb - maybe a dry solder joint or something like that. It's the same LCD that was used on the 2016 705, which Wisper said was affected by a batch of faulty LCDs, so it might be worth giving them a call.

That's not possible. Forces obey the laws of physics. With the motor switched off, there is nothing attached to the wheels that can slow you down, and you confirmed that they spin freely. You must have been going uphill or into a strong headwind.
