Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

from the pictures of the broken axle, it looks like it's a fault in the casting process. Also. who supplied this broken axle? It's not the original TSDZ2.

Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

for me, the bottom bracket axle is a non-issue. I have never seen a broken one, leave alone replacing it. On the other hand, the failing blue gear is a nightmare for support. This is now fixed. The second most complained about is the lateral play of the bottom bracket axle. It's an annoyance and...

Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

the TSDZ2 was the best since sliced bread when it first appears. Same goes for the Bafang BBS01. The BBS01 became BBS01B with the issues identified and corrected. Issues on the TSDZ2 are few and far in between for typical road legal kits and the fixes are already tried and tested, albeit that...

Help! Tongsheng TSDZ2 48v 500w to run on 36v battery

Saving money by misusing your kit? Did you ride with a 48V battery on your own 36V kit? this is the attitude that I deplore.

Help! Tongsheng TSDZ2 48v 500w to run on 36v battery

It's nothing to do with your battery is better than mine or mine is better than yours. If you sell kits, you should not advise potential customers to misuse the products in the first place. Manufacturers limit their warranty for a reason. Connecting a 48V battery to a 36V kit is unwise. Not only...

Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

the video does not add much to what we already know. Also, he spends a fair amount of time talking about maximum power which is irrelevant to most of us who want a road legal motor. I would like to see someone to show inside those motors. That would convince me why I should want to choose a...

Help! Tongsheng TSDZ2 48v 500w to run on 36v battery

if you connect a 36V TSDZ2 to a nearly flat 48V battery, you can start the motor for a bit then it will pop up an error. If you connect a 36V TSDZ2 to a fully charged 48V battery, the LCD will just flash on/off. You can't even start the motor. If you connect a 48V TSDZ2 to a nearly flat 36V...

Help! Tongsheng TSDZ2 48v 500w to run on 36v battery

the LCD on the TSDZ2 is set for either 36V or 48V battery. If you change the voltage of the battery from 48V to 36V, you need to reprogram the TSDZ2. You can't do that from the LCD's buttons.

    Knee injury - bike recommendation!

throttle can't be fitted to Bosch motors. Take a look at the Woosh Santana. It would be good until your knee is OK again. It has a very good Bafang SWX02 motor and very comfortable sit up riding position, front suspension, full chainguard, mudguards, rack, propstand, lights and bell etc. It also...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Wallace may be popular with the army's generals and possibly also with the membership but on debates, he is pretty wooden. With his experience and contacts, a career outside parliament may be more attractive than leader of the opposition which he may not get. I reckon Mordaunt is better at the...

The space inside that triangle may be too small for a conventional downtube battery. Cut a pie e of cardboard 36cm × 10cm to see if it will fit. If not, fit a 48v 10ah bag battery.

lessons learnt and now even more advice required

one frequent question with conversions is 'do I need to drill extra holes?' With some kits (like kits with a rack battery or a bag battery and a cadence sensor) , there is absolutely no need but with some other kits, you'll need to drill at least one hole. Such as to install a bottom bracket...

would you please email support about this? You have a steep hill nearby, so it should be easy to check out the different assist levels climbing this hill. Higher level should be equal to higher climbing speed. Do you mean where to place the KM529 LCD?

    Vanmoof going under??

They used to have a torque sensor then introduced a pedal sensor in later models. They have a 3-speed automatic gearbox and later 2-speed. They have an app. What else?
