    Beginners guide to batteries

If you were discharging for 2 hours at 1A, you would see 2000mAh at bottom right, so you must be misunderstanding something. The reason it stops at 2 hours is because that's the default safety setting. Download an instruction manual, so that you know how to work the charger.

KT controller - throttle is stronger than PAS ?

Try increasing C14, then let us know what it does. I would have thought that it would be a ramp on the start-up under PAS, but I remember another guy, who complained about low power from his PAS or something like that, which he fixed with C14.

How to add a throttle to a Carrera Vengeance E Spec

It was the same with the Speedict, which was probably just an Arduino in a wrapper. They provided a special cable for the throttle that had a low pass filter in it. The Speedict took your PAS and throttle and reprocessed them to do some clever things. If you used a normal cable, it worked fine...

How to add a throttle to a Carrera Vengeance E Spec

Maybe the problem is nothing to do with your code. Have you got a low pass filter on your Arduino's output to the torque sensor input?

    Wisper 705SEL Lost throttle

Your photo P1100758.jpg in post #11 shows that the connector isn't in properly. It has the same colour wires as the throttle!

Please take me back to school battery electrics

Your battery is a standard silver fish. There are some minor differences in the connection plate, but tyhe batteris normally come with the plate and the lockstrip, so you cam replace the whole lot. Iccasionally, there might be some minor work to fit the replacement plate. Obviously, if the plate...

NEED HELP PLEASE SW900 settings desperate

36v implies that there's something wrong with your battery. It should be 42V.

    Ebco m45 help please

It's not going to work . The motor connector is non-standard and the battery is a non-standard fitting and it has CANbus. It would be easier to start from scratch with a new donor bike.

    Wisper Wisper 705se disc pads

It's not difficult. You look to see what brakes you have, then go to Ebay you buy pads for them. Wisper don't make brakes. they just fit them to their bikes.

Please take me back to school battery electrics

That's a good question, and the answer is quite complicated. The first thing to understand is that motors don't care about voltage. The voltage affects their maximum speed in direct proportion, so the same motor will spin 30% faster at 48v (12S) compared with 36v (10S). When running at full...

    Help! Confused! Controllers and Displays

The display is the control device that you use as an interface to communicate with the controller. the controller is the thing that regulates the motor's speed and power.. In a Bafang BBS01/2, the controller is attached to the motor and the control panel (display) is attached to the handlebars...

Help! light bike very good on steep hills?

Bromtoms go up hills well with hub-motors because the wheels are small. The one I coverted with a Q85 and standard 15A controller at 36v could go up a 14% hill with 100kg on board without pedalling. The only problem is the much lower speed. It was doimg about 5 mph like that and top speed was...

Tips for fitting two torque arms

Don't pull too hard. They're sometimes badly crimped, so the wire pulls out of the terminal. Another thing you can do is cut the wires a couple of inches from the connector, then solder them back together and heatshrink them.

Beat Bike Toba Crossbar (Bike Log)

Show me in any of those links where it says that you can't have a throttle. Did you know that throttles are fitted to many of if not all the Wisper bikes, all of which have been tested and found to be in compliance with EN15194?

One for the clever people who know about controllers...

The Gtech doesn't do anything clever. There are no gears so pedal speed and wheel speed are in direct proportion. It's the wheel speed that cuts the current, not the controller. The controller only allows current. At low speed, you'll get whatever the controller allows, but at some speed, the...
