cycle computer suitable for 26" wheel electric bike

Use your phone. There are loads of free cycling apps. They'll give you eveything except heart rate. If you want heart rate too, you'll need a heartrate monitor. That means that you'll need to buy a proper one or use a smart watch. You can buy used Fibit Charge 3 on Ebay for about £30. A charge...

    Cycling. Health. Covid. Diet.

Just an aside and a warning, in May, a lot of people were talking about vitimin supplements to help fight covid. As i hyad a bad diet and unhealthu life-style, I thought it might be prudent to start taking some. I was taking multi-vitamins and vitimin D from Superdrug. I ended up in hospital...

For Sale Clear out - all sorts of stuff

I've had a look at some of the motor-wheels today. These are what I found. An unusual DD motor. It's about 7" in diameter. 26" front wheel never used. 201 rpm 36v Q100 26" front. slight use. Oxygen branded small Bafang front 28" unused. Xiongda tiny front motor 28" with controller and LCD. about...

    Wisper Tyres

They're very hard rubber, so my senses tell me that the smaller size might get more grip. The bigger size would be more comfortable, though heavier. Comfort is no problem on my bike because I have air suspension front and rear. I have 1.75 front and rear.

NEED HELP PLEASE SW900 settings desperate

Yes, but if everything is OK, but you need to find out what's causing your problem first because you can do some damage. The next test is see what happens to the voltage going to the LCD when you switch it on. If it collapses, then your battery can't supply the current that the controller...

    Cycling. Health. Covid. Diet.

Honey has all sorts of weird anti-bacterial properties. I always put some in jam or any other preserved fruits from my gardon. Last autumn I made about 50 tubs (from Chinese takeaway) and 20 jars of stewed apples with some honey in. Despite not really taking any decontammination precautions...

    Bracket for Key-Disp-21 lcd controller

UV glue will fix it. this is an instruction I gave to a forum member, who successfully fixed his: It needs a fillet to get strength. Here's how I'd do it. 1. Loosen off the clamp screws as far as you can. 2. Take off the LCD and rotate the bracket round so that the breaks are upwards. 3. There...

Gazelle Orange Innergy - intermittent loss of power assist function

Looking for a picture of the controller, I came across this article, which details everything: https://otapi.medium.com/renew-a-faulty-e-bike-ffa566e3a855 That links to this one from our adweb dutch friend, Albert van Dalen , who has been an absolute goldmine of info about how ebikes work...

Gazelle Orange Innergy - intermittent loss of power assist function

12v is the gate voltage for mosfets. As I said before, I can only guess that it's being used to switch something. I would have guessed that it's switching the battery on, but if you can measure 36v on the other terminals when the battery is disonnected, that seems less likely unless there is...

    Cyclotricity Stealth 1000 battery

You can use any battery you want with a Cyclotricity as long as it's the same voltage. In other words, there's no need to use the same type or quality. The battery is joined by two wires. Show us your bike if you want more specific advice.

    Roundabout grumble about car drivers

Best on a motorbike. You can take the racing line or you can do a complete lap to see how far you can get the bike leant over. The Dartford tunnel roundabout used to be good before they put the traffic lights on it. I had 90mph round it on a TZR250 . Every motorcyclist has their favourite...

    Cycling. Health. Covid. Diet.

I get through loads of honey, but I just buy the cheapo £1 jars in Morrison's. I keep hoping that friendly forum members would donate some of the good stuff, but I never even got an empty jar to sniff. I put it on my Weetabix everyday with fruit. I put a big dob in my frozen mixed vegetables...

    Bikes available to buy now

That's the FlyKly all-in-one motor. No gears, no clutch and no chance to fix it when it goes wrong. I can't see it being very popular. Just about everybody on this forum that tried an all-in-one had problems, which we couldn't help them with. You have to send the whole wheel back to FlyKly to...

    Cycling. Health. Covid. Diet.

I don't go to any of that trouble to keep myself free of covid. I eat a lot of these, which have tomatos in that are supposed to be good for fighting off diseases, but my main protection comes from my bracelets. My method seems to work really well, so I won't need the vaccination. I learned...

    Help! Ezee motor engine braking?

Spokes don't need to come off. Everything comes out from the side. Whether it'll get better or worse depends on the cause. Some clutches stick a bit when new, then free off. Others stick through lack of use, and others get sticky from rust.

converting a geared hub motor to a mid drive for a home made e bike with a small rear wheel

I never noticed before that there were two versions. i wonder what the difference is apart ftom the 800w one only being 201rpm. and more expensive. when they originally brought out H versions of the Q100 and Q128, they had a higher reducyion ratio than the cooking versions. I wonder if their...

    Help! Ezee motor engine braking?

I'm not to sure what you're saying. when free-wheeling, it should be free. If it has resistance when free-wheeling, the clutch is sticking. If it is stuck all the time, you can free it by giving the tyre a good whack in the forward direction with a lump hammer. if that doesn't work, you need to...
