    New KT Display

The problem with those sort of things is that they often don't have clearance for shifters or hydraulic brakes. Also, if you break the throttle lever, it's going to cost you £40 instead if a fiver.

    Wisper Tyres

It's not as simple as that. Tyres get grip above the coefficient of linear friction in two ways. Firstly, they use the stick-slip principle, where the molecules that are in contact with the surface stick, then get stretched up to a point that they let go, then restick. This stretching converts...

Looking for suggestions for a low-ish speed, high-ish torque front hub motor to go with existing 48v kit

Most 700c forks aren't strong enough for a high torque front motor. Show us what you've got. Also you'll have problems with traction. Can't you make an adapter for the coupling? For most, all you need is a plate with two holes or a drilled torque arm.

    Wisper 705SEL Lost throttle

Did it connect colour to colour? Did you ask Wisper if there's a setting in the controller/lcd that disables it or changes its priority? Did you measure that you're getting 1.2v to 3.8 v on the signal wire when you operate it?

    Help! Choosing a Conversion Kit

Cheap kits are cheap for a reason. All kits work, and most are better than not having one, but if you have a nice bike and want it to be nice after you convert it, it's worth getting a kit that does what you want rather than what's cheap. If you want specific advice, you should show a picture...

    Help! Controller problem

I told you in post #2 that you have your PAS connected to the wrong connector. You havent confirmed that you have fixed it. I told you in post #10 that you have the wrong connection sequence in your hall sensor connector. You still haven't confirmed that you have fixed it. How can anyone help...

    Help! Controller problem

You can't connect to the throttle connector, like you have. Every time a magnet passes the sensor, you'll get full throttle signal. The red, blue and black connector is the correct one. Your hall sensor connector also has the wrong sequence. The red must go to red and the black to the black...

For Sale Wisper 705 Torque for sale

I think about £300 would be more like it. Maybe try £350 first. A battery would be about £300, and the bike would be worth about £700 if fully working. Somebody is going to get a bargain if it's only the fuse that's blown..

    Protective Gear

Hmm! It reminds me of this person. Some will remember who she is. Rather than spend six quid on a hair net, wouldn't it be better to get a waterproof helmet, which will transform you from a berk to a dude...

    Help! Replacement electronic controller required

The blue loop is cruise control. Disconnect it because you don't need it and it can cause an accident when it locks your speed when you don't expect it.

    Help! Controller problem

OK, this is my last guess, which is all I can do without photos, and you didn't say whether you checked that you're connected to the right connector It's really frustrating when people don't help us to help them. You have the self-study connectors connected. They should be disconnected for...

Do you know the significance of this mini-roubndabout - only a short ride from Woosh HQ. You could visit it on a test ride: https://www.google.com/maps/@51.5456704,0.5640124,3a,75y,285.93h,78.49t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sNrlcMwe_xQoXXNNQRWWvuA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

    Freego folding electric bike

There are a lot of different models. They all work, but some have better control systems than others. The cheaper Freegos had a bit of delay between pedalling and the pedal assist kicking in, which some would find annoying. On the plus side, they normally have throttles, which can be set to full...

    Help! Controller problem

I think you have the PAS connected to the wrong connector. It's connected to the throttle one instead of the PAS. When you connect it to the right connector, make sure that the sequence of the wires is correct - normally red to red, black to black and whatever colour the third wire is to the...

cycle computer suitable for 26" wheel electric bike

The Fitbit Charge 2 and 3 use the GPS data from your phone, so it's exactly the same, except it superimposes your heart rate onto it and calculates the calories more accurately. Some of the other Fitbits have GPS in them, but that makes it a bit more fiddly to start and stop your ride because...
