Why were Full Throttles banned in 2016?

I explained already in post #11. The new law from 1/1/2016 concerns only manufacturers, not the users. You can have a twist and go throttle on your converted or shop bought bike if you want, but as manufacturer, I am not allowed to install a twist and go throttle on bikes that I assemble. If I...

You made a good point but power cuts last only minutes or hours during which I would have bigger problems checking which works and which does not than go shopping.

He goes round and round, explaining nothing new. He first made the separation between money and currencies, fair enough. He then substitutes frequently the word money for currencies and vice versa so acknowledging that there isn't a difference in practice. He then said 'the financial system is...

Paper money exists for a long time. The move to digital currencies is just a more convenient way for accountancy. The BoE balance sheet won't charge because of such introduction. The main issue for the British economy has been and still is low productivity compared to the EU.

before getting a folding MiRide as a fat 6ft 4ins man, is there something cheaper or better?

your weight is a problem for frames, especially those with a mid-frame fold like the Rambletta. I would suggest you look into converting a bike. You have then better choice of a strong frame to start with. As you are not far from us, please pop in to try some bikes to get a better idea what suits.

Why were Full Throttles banned in 2016?

The new law from 1/1/2016 stops manufacturers implementing twist and go throttles which let you start from standstill without pedalling. The throttle on my bikes are not twist and go. You have to pedal a bit before the throttle is activated. The throttle has also an on/off switch.
