    Brexit, for once some facts.

Pretty useless, but I suppose they have to. That money would mainly go to the lawyers. Money is better spent stopping people to get ill in the first place. If I were the government, I'll make sure that government would provide employment of last resort and guaranteed a decent minimum living wage...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

On average, a PIP claim costs the treasury £70,000. It is estimated that the NHS queue adds about 300,000 extra claimants a year, that's 21 extra billion pounds to the national debt each year. Insufficient funding of the NHS under conservatives administration has consequences. Who is going to...

where are the carers coming from? there is always the hope that we could create robots to help care for the aged and cure the sick but as far as I can guess, me and my wife may have died before that happens. Listening to Radio 4 this morning, the subject was PIP. Disability benefits cost could...

Changing from TMM Torque Sensor to Cadence sensor - how hard is it please?

The plastic is not load bearing, its job is to hold the magnet. If the sensor head is still working then the sensor should work.

Help! Recommend me a front hub motor

We still offer XF07 and bafang BPM in 26in rims. In general, front hubs are a little noisier and the BPM with bigger gearbox is also noisier.

Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

Yes, I only sell road legal kits. Pricewise, I will sell the 48V 250W Turbo at the same price as my 48V BBS01ET. They are pretty equal in performance on paper.

their venture lasted less than I expected. They sort of delivered the brexit they wanted but could not and did not change the quietly pro EU majority in parliament.

I don't know much about Tongsheng resellers in the EU to be honest. I reckon it will be soon available from ciclotek in Italy, China elifebike in France and Germany. I think probably for both controllers, up to 500W and up to 750W. yes. I assume people familiar with OSF will quickly sovle this.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

China spies on the West for a very long time and still do if not more than never before. They send every year hundreds of thousands if not millions of their brightest young people to our universities to study and research then when they go back to China, they bring the best and latest of Western...

Europe, including GB, has a problem with low birth rates and excessive public borrowing. How are you going to sort them out without migrants?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I suppose we'll end up with a soft brexit next year when Starmer is PM. Who knows, we may even join schengen and nobody is going to use rubber boat. BTW, I watch YT a lot but not European politics, mainly AI news and astronomy.

did you watch Laura K.'s 'State of chaos'? Although I am already aware of all the events, the review puts events into a logical chain, is still well worth watching. BBC Two - Laura Kuenssberg: State of Chaos

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

China's chipmakers put a lot of effort into developing ALD (atomic layer deposition) to overcome the need to buy EUV from ASML. At present, the West reckons that Huawei/SMIC made their Kirin 9000S chip using a modified version of Deep UV from ASML. DUV goes down to 14nm. EUV goes down to 4/5nm...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

It's bound to happen but I reckon it's a bit too late for the EU to start a fight with China on electric cars. Battery prices are tumbling around the world, 10% in August alone, and lots of battery factories will become obsolete very soon. Electric cars are now cheaper to make in china than ICE...

it's a good statistical method to evaluate the effect of covid on the population. You compare the total death since the event (2020) against a whatif the event didn't happen base of a moving average of the same in the 5 years preceeding the event. A lot of the deaths labelled as covid did not...
