But the way it is expressed shows utter failure to connect. It is so obvious that we have ALL had more than enough about Covid-19, it simply doesn't need to be said. Certainly not in that semi-patronising way.

If infection/hospitalisation rates continue to rise, we can expect Nightingales to be needed and fill up. If they are not able to work (due to lack of staff?) they will obviously be completely unsuccessful. Stuffed Nightingales for Christmas? Or Turkeys?

Just heard Johnson on news saying (approximately) "I don't know about you but I've had more than enough of this virus..." Can he be so stupid as to think that makes any sort of point whatsoever? Other than pointedly return the answer "yes".

Apparently, a CSV opened in, or imported into, Excel. Hitting the row limit and the remaining lines just being dropped. As I said before, an end of file marker, or record count record, (used sensibly) would have picked that up. More or less 1970s batch data processing fundamentals.

True. But even a record count at the end of a file would have highlighted that as an issue. Do we assume the file format has absolutely no terminator? Mind, I agree it surely can't be a fundamental OS limit.
