    I'm rather hoping that it is all tories who get ill. So opposition votes really can be carried - whether to defeat a government motion or push their own through. Trouble is, about the only thing they have shown themselves really rather accomplished at is, you've guessed, coming down with covid-19.

    Bendicks were bought by, IIRC, a German company many years ago. Bendicks bought up the genuine Winchester chocolate makers shop - Tyler's - and closed them down.
