    Bulgarian and Romanian Immigrants

about 1 out of 10 britons capable of work do not want a job, another 1 of 10 cannot hold down a full day job for one reason or another. Add the young, old and the ones with disability, there are just too many dependents on welfare. The EU forces our goverments to treat all EU citizens as if they...

    Nuvinci N360 New for £132!

I wonder why the new lower price. Two months ago, I asked my Chinese contact for the price of the 2013 N360, I was quoted $300, not worth that much I thought. The new price is $160, it's probably the right price for this equipment to compete with other hub gears.

One would assume that it should be effortless to shift under heavy load but apparently this is not happening, bang goes the main attraction. No wonder they cut the price.

    My brompton stolen :(

unfortunately, the police is correct. He's got the (loaned) Brompton with your consent and his promise to refund your disboursement is not enforceable. This guy seems to be complacent for using different phone numbers with the same login. You'll find him sooner or later with the smallads around...

    Bike seat review

I think they exagerate the downside too much. Stick to your plan, the frame seems to be good for up to 150kgs. So how much do you two weigh?

    Oldman here

both are OK bikes. Members tend to comment on bikes with exceptional quality (eg Optibike, BH Neos, S-pedelecs and self builds) or bikes that are exceptionally good value for money. OK bikes are OK for average weight and flat terrain, not much else to say really.

    BH Emotion serious problems

if the dealer gets passed from pillar to post, chasing a third party for replacement parts, third party who has no special motivation to sort the problem out quickly, you'll end up in this present situation, with customers kept waiting for weeks. Contrast that with the Freego example above, you...

    BH Emotion serious problems

the UK market size for ebikes is 30,000 a year out of 2 millions bikes, it's maybe cost effective to distribute e-bikes alongside your other bikes but this system leaves the customers short-changed on service if they (the customers) buy from e-bike only shops when something mechanical fails and...

    BH Emotion serious problems

The problem is scale. If you sell 500 bikes in a year, less than 10 will need major servicing. Such small scale will not pay the salary of a full time mechanic. I think the KTM distributor's approach to service by passing the bucket to a third party (the agent for SR forks in this instance) and...

    BH Emotion serious problems

If your LBS services more bikes than he sells in a day then his bikes are not very good for requiring so much servicing! In all the bikeshops I've been to, I always see salesmen with some double up as technician.

    BH Emotion serious problems

the shop makes most of the money selling the bikes. Service, especially under warranty, is a chore, the margin on parts is barely sufficient to cover time spent on the phone to locate the parts and cover courier cost.

Just to confirm: - on the MXUS kit, the blue wire is connected to Vcc on the controller side, suppling 36V to the electric lock input of the LCD panel. - when you unplug the blue wire on the controller side, the MXUS motor does not work Question: does the votage on the blue wire LCD side show...
