Sorry for a newbie question. Turn off thumb throttle.

Why do you want to disable it?

Woosh Rio first ride with a low state of charge in the battery

The bars are a current eter. The more current you take from the battery, the more bars light up. A run down battery goes as low as 31v. Wheb fully charged, it's 42v, so you get 33% more power when fully charged compared with when it's run down. I'm not sure if that's the same with a Bosch...

Woosh Whoosh XF kit general advice + cadence vs torque sensor

It's a shame that Woosh don't do current control (torque simulation) controllers. I keep telling them but they don't listen. Curent control gives you the possibility to pedal,as hard or easy as you want at any time with a cadence sensor, which is what you're asking for. IMHO, it's the most...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Poor old Hilary is getting worried. The cries of "Lock her up" are suddenly sounding louder. I heard Trump has a massive list of all the crooked FBI officials who are going to get kicked out, then the trustworthy ones left behind are going to start doing what they're supposed to, which is going...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I think you've forgotten to take your pills again. Are you becoming as forgetful as Biden? Use the alarm in your phone, which you can set to remind you. Some smart watches do it too. I've got a Huawei GT2e now that's absolutely brilliant. As well as alarms, it does breathing exercises, heart...

You don't really need a connector, and it's twice the work to put connectors on.

    Carrera Vulcan intermittent e42

Intermittent can't be the hall sensors. They're solid state, so they work or not. They can't repair themselves if they stop working. Instead, it's the motor connector. The pins or wires get pulled out. You can eliminate that by cutting off the connectors and soldering the wires.

Where to find cheap frame and front suspension forks?

What was wrong with Ebay? You'd have one by now if you had looked when I said. Same as I used here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Carrera-Vulcan-Mountain-Bike-2010-Blue-Frame-With-Zoom-Front-Fork/274546949713?hash=item3fec45fe51%3Ag%3AFUAAAOSwg1lflDX-&LH_ItemCondition=3000...

    Bms replacement

Wall of text that I can't follow from where you wrote "Problem". I'm pretty sure that some of what you're saying is wrong. Maybe start again with simple questions and photos one point at a time for anything you don't understand, or ask multiple questions but each in separate paragraphs as...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The NYP article was news stated as fact, not opinion. If you have verified evidence, you can post it as fact, and if it turns out that the facts are wrong, you can be sued for slander or libel. In an opinion piece, the writer can write anything they like because it's stated as their opinion, not...

    Carrera Vulcan intermittent e42

The easiest way is probably like you did begore, but turn the motor by hand. If you don't have a complete motor, you need to apply 5v to the vcc position and ground to gnd, then measure the voltage between each sensor output and ground while you wave a magnet over the hall sensor to see if it...

    Carrera Vulcan intermittent e42

You can't test them with the motor running because they switch too fast, which will give you an average 2.5v. You should turn the wheel backwards by hand while you check the voltage on each one. They should switch between 0v and 5v as the wheel goes round. Your picture is missing. can you post...

Bnineteeneam 48v 250w 26” front wheel conversion kit

Nice write up, thanks. You have a KT controller, which is pretty good. It can be upgraded to one that gives you access to the settings that adjust speed and power if you ever want to do anything like that. Did you put the controller in your panier? I prefer to put them in a tool bag that...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I'll have to split that up a bit because the question doesn't make sense as it stands. Brexit seems to be coming along fine - just 9 more weeks and it'll all be over. As I said from before the vote, we won't notice any difference. Nothing has changed in 4 years, despite all the doom-mongers...

Oh dear- who's been throwing batteries in the bin?!

The gasses only come out when the batteries burn, not when you put them in the ground. you need to do a bit more internet research or actually read what you find.

Conversion for a Dahon Glide (24" wheel, narrowhub).

I doubt that you'll find a suitable ready-made kit. You can't use a Brompton one because the motor will be too fast for a 24" wheel. My recommendation would be the Q70 from BMSBattery. I haven't used this motor myself but it looks perfect. The only problem is that the two different versions both...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

No, I tried that with mine when it started to become too slow to use. I used my Do It Yourself Brain Surgery book as a guide, which has a good section on home cloning, but I think that the methods described are more for animals than objects. I then tried feeding it plastic granules and ground up...
