Redbridge Testing - Hubs v Cranks

Very wise Eddie, it would reduce range significantly on the 36V 9Ah DaaHub battery.

Redbridge Testing - Hubs v Cranks

Hi Don, without knowing your frame number I couldn't be certain, however if you ride along the road on full assist and then open the throttle wide, you will certainly notice a difference if the bike is set up this way. I would imagine it would be though. All the best David

Redbridge Testing - Hubs v Cranks

Hi 10MPH, I didn't think we were represented at Redbridge this year? I wish you could also have tested the new SEL which in tests will pull the same rider twice as far up a steep incline as the SE. The Wisper SE bikes are "Rated" at 250W and have been certified as so in the EN15194 tests...

    Fell off my Wisper

Thank goodness it was only your pride Paul! I've fallen off loads of times and (touch wood) I have not managed to break anything yet, as you say just a dented pride. The worst of all was when I was trying out the 906Alpino for the first time showing off and cornering too fast I hit a patch...

    Back wheel puncture

Hi Don, I do not imagine it would be an issue, however please wait until I have the parts in before asking them to do it, otherwise I will have a riot on my hands! All the best David

    London E-Bike Fest June 9th and 10th

I agree there should be a lot more activity in the north of the country, and we addressing the situation. We are trying to take space as E4 at the Sky ride in Manchester but are having an issue with the organisers at the moment. If anyone has any suggestions for a venue attached to an event...

Update on the Atmosphere Electric Bike Festival - Bristol June 10th

No problems at all Alastair, there are 60 million people in the UK, we all at BEBA still have a lot of work to do. As far as I am concerned, the more e-bike events going on the better. However 2 in any one weekend is probably enough for us smaller companies to cope with! All the best David

Update on the Atmosphere Electric Bike Festival - Bristol June 10th

My pleasure sir! Unfortunately I drew the short straw and will be stuck in London on the London E-Bike Fest event for both Saturday and Sunday so will not be able to attend the Bristol gig. All bikes that are available for testing in London will also be at the Bristol day too. I believe...

    London E-Bike Fest June 9th and 10th

BEBA's London E-bike Fest as a part of the London Green Fair is to be held from 12.00 to 19.00 on 9th and 10th June in The Regent's Park London. The London Green Fair is already a superb day out with nearly 25,000 Londoners attending in 2011. This year has been augmented by the addition of...

    Deflated ... or what?

Excellent news Don, That particular dealer is one of our best and I was pretty certain there was a mix up in communications somewhere along the line. I am delighted it has been resolved to your satisfaction. There is now a system in place so people who have bought bikes from them get top...

Hi Karl, there seems to be an issue, have you spoken to your supplier? I am sure they will be able to resolve the issue for you. Best regards David

Yet another 'which pedelec should I buy' thread... :)

Hi Dave, I am not sure, we have so many superb bikes! I think most sellers have good web pages that can all be accessed from this site and we should tell our stories there. I truly believe that when such questions are asked we should all show a little restraint, back off and let the real...

Norman Baker tries an electric bike

Thanks Goryl, it took nearly two years to get him in the saddle, I was kind of hoping for more. At least he knows what an electric bike is now and certainly likes them! All the best David :)
