No. Even if there is no contra-indication. I think we used up the first shipment of Pfizer. Don't forget the price tag: Pfizer $25 against AZ 2.18 euros.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I think the government have only got 1 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine and have pretty much use that stock up on the first 450,000 of us. All the current jabs are the AZ vaccines, so they can do both jabs on 15-16 millions by the end of March. That would tie in nicely with schools re-opened...

On the current trajectory, the rate is about 3 million jabs a week. From now to the end of March, they should have given another 24-28 million jabs. I think they can carry on on the present regimen for 3 more weeks, giving the first jab for another 10 millions then concentrate on giving the...

yes, you are correct. Some rankings do not take the cost of living into account, you can buy a lot more with $25,000 a year in China than in the USA. BTW, I track Covid here: https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/ 491,970 people got vaccinated last Saturday 23rd.

China has already overtaken the USA in 2018, thanks to Donald Trump and the Chinese government knows it. Trump's 'America first' policy actually helps China exports and drives FDDI to China. Last year, China received more FDDI than any other country.

Hancock says that the number of daily vaccinations is now limited by vaccine supplies and unlikely to increase further. I take it that he implies 3 million jabs a week. Meanwhile, in the EU, the rate has increased. Don't forget that they use the Pfizer vaccine. QUOTE: It took the UK 24 days to...

that is a bit worrying. Aren't they supposed to acquire immunity? First time covid = first jab.

they'll say it will get worse before it gets better and there are other values than the economy. they'll say that slower growth will give the UK the competitive edge over the EU. How many voters would not believe our government?

    Small front motor Q85 / Q75?

the Q75 fits 3" dropout, there is very little room left on the axle, even for anti-rotation washers so the anti-rotation device is incorporated into the axle. On small folders, if you want disc brakes, go for a rear hub motor. I have done that on my Rambletta. https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?rambletta...

I welcome that move. Anarchy leads to the disrespect of legal systems. We defend our freedoms as we must but at the same time should guard against those who seek to create anarchy.

when I wrote that line 'Our own biological evolution is nowhere as fast as that of the corona viruses.', I merely refer to the process called evolution that living things go through over many (say 100) generations. Mutations are just steps in that evolution.

we still don't know the effect of temperature and sunlight on Covid19. It could well be that the virus has never left. And it is much less active and symptoms much repressed in summer months while infection continues. When wet and cold weather returns, covid becomes more active and symptoms...

Danidl objected to my use of the word 'evolution' in post #599170. I think it's just a misunderstanding. I reckon SARS1 evolved from the Spanish flu, SARS2 actually evolved from SARS1. Danidl reckons it's just random mutations.
