they are perfect for use with the supplied rivnuts. The domed head is low profile enough for the battery to slide in and out. Go get the tool at screwfix or toolstation. It's one of the must have tools. https://www.screwfix.com/p/forge-steel-hand-riveter-10-262mm/6607c...

How to install rivnuts: have you got the rivnut tool? You only need a couple of millimeters of metal. The rivnut is like an eyelet, it fastens to itself by self deforming. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Riveter-Dyna-Living-Nutsert-Wrench-Threaded/dp/B091SVMHMK/ref=sr_1_18_sspa It's done in seconds...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

the (estimated) first 20% of the population catching covid mostly without symptoms but for those that have, 170,000 die. We vaccinated 8.5 millions twice and about 24 millions once with about 30 deaths. The benefit of vaccines is clearly demonstrated.

people use a lot more energy and run far higher risk of damaging their organs fighting the real virus than preparing for it. There was a guy on TV describing how he felt about covid: he had no symptoms for 5 days then his lungs seem to have been blown up.

I think vaccines may be more effective against future variants compared to naturally acquired immunity. Agreed.

I suppose the world needs a strategy to get to herd immunity without killing too many [young] people. Vaccines are probably the cheapest and fastest means to do that.

it's not ridiculous. Those who are in the at risk group of blood clots are given an alternative vaccine. I was given the AZ at my first jab - I don't belong to the at risk group of blood clots, I don't need an alternative vaccine for my second jab but my daughter would.

How small/short a person can e-folders be adjusted for?

I despair at the speed of anything printed in PLA. Speed hasn't improved much over the last 10 years or so.

The one we use is the original Hailong case and it does not have aluminium strip. you have a different base. I think yours is a Polly case.

There are rubber feet under the cradle to make sliding the battery in/out easy so the mount is very similar to what you have with a downtube.

I cut and paste the base over the rack top picture. I think Riley is going to bolt the battery base/cradle directly to the aluminium top.

It's for security. The battery covers the domes of the 3x M5 bolts. There is no way to undo those bolts with rivnuts. If you have nuts, they can be undone.

@ FJC71: I understand what you mean, as her saddle is set quite low but she needs a rack that is bolted to the seat stays for stability and security. Riley has bought a rack last week, I am waiting for the rack to be fitted. She has some other engagement this week so it's slightly delayed.
