I do undertand the thought of a weekend in London is not everyone's cup of tea, although Regent's Park is beautiful in June. Presteign will still be happening of course. If anyone has any suggestions of another event elsewhere we could tag on to I would be grateful. All the best David

I absolutely agree NRG, the direct drive motors we have tested are quieter certainly but much larger. The most important reason we have stayed with geared motors for the moment however is the lack of decent torque available. All the best David

Hi All, I have been asked by the members of BEBA to start thinking about an electric bike day to be held later this year. Any ideas for a suitable venue would be gratefully received. This is not an alternative to the much loved Presteign event and will be held much later in the year...

I don't think the exhibition is going to be held this year Ian. I understand that here will be a 50 mile ride on the Saturday and other riding events including the parade on Sunday, however this is yet to be conformed by the organisers. All the best David

Thanks Morphix, that was the design brief and I am delighted with the way it works and locks onto the bike. It will of course fit in front of the seat tube and under the cross bar. This makes it look a little more like an electric bike of course but it does lower the centre of gravity...

Really good points Morphix. And yes Harry it is a lot more complicated to build a decent commercial kit than at first appearance, in fact I would say it is even more complicated than building a new bike! However we have now placed our first production order and hope to have DaaHub in the UK...

Yes he has had some very wet and cold days but all in all he is having the time of his life, we at Wisper are all very envious too! He is now on the way to London via India and Middle East so I imagine he has a lot more challenges to come! All the best David
